Talkin’ about Campaign
We’re asking that folks be polite in our forum – if you’re going to post Campaign spoilers, that you flag your posts with an *SP* tag in the subject line, and that if you’re posting inside of a thread that isn’t COMPLETELY devoted to spoilers, that you actually spoiler-tag your content. (Basic instructions on how to do that can be found here.) However, if you’d like to simply chat with others about the game, and you find this all too restricting, Hawaiian Pig has pointed out that the #hbo channel on the Adelais IRC server is full of folks who’d love to help you out. Go join ’em!(Louis Wu 12:56:14 UTC)

Smoothing out the bumps
When you launch a new title, and a few million people all start accessing things at once, I suppose you can expect issues. Yesterday, Bungie posted a bunch of things that might help you if you’re having trouble:- Folks having trouble redeeming codes that come with the Limited or Legendary editions, read this
- Folks having trouble with networking, read this
- Folks wondering about Campaign Matchmaking, read this
- Folks wondering what happened to their favorite Bungie.net feature that was JUST THERE, read this
Keep an open mind, and if you run into a problem, don’t panic – it’s early days, yet.(Louis Wu 12:39:19 UTC)

The Escapist: 5/5
Everything in Halo: Reach feels like a love letter to the series and its fans – that is, the ones that aren’t going to ignore the single-player and immediately jump into spending hours online with the multiplayer.

AH: Halo: Reach Achievement Race
Hello there. Now as you may or may not know, there are three AAA titles that are coming out on September 14th! Pretty crazy, huh? They’re Cabela’s North American Adventures, Truth or Lies, and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole.
Now we would usually have an achievement race for one of these big games, but I thought we would change it up a little this time. Another game is coming out on September 14th, it’s called Halo: Reach. So this time the Achievement Hunter Community Race will be for that game. Give the little, not-so-well-known games a chance for once.
So, leave your Gamertag in the race comments if you would like to participate. Sign-ups will be open until the game is released on September 14th. That is also when the race will start.
Race has officially started! Click on the image above to check your standing!

AH: Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker – Most Dangerous Game Guide
Happy day-before Reach everyone!
If you’re like me, you’re biting your finger nails waiting for midnight to come. Instead of sitting and staring at a wall to pass the time, let’s watch a video together. “What video” you say? How about this guide for the Most Dangerous Game Achievement in Mass Effect 2’s latest (and greatest) DLC, Lair of the Shadow Broker!

AH: Halo: Reach Video Explosion
Hey Everyone,
So today is arguably the biggest day of the year for gamers, and definitely for us at Achievement Hunter. We burned the midnight oil to prepare as many Reach videos as we could. So, without further adieu, let’s get started.
Our first video covers getting the Wake up, Buttercup Achievement:
Following up on that one, we have a guide to getting If They Came to Hear Me Beg:
Next up is Your Heresy Will Stay Your Feet:
Our next guide shows how to get Banshees, Fast and Low:
We then move on to getting I didn’t Train to be a Pilot:
Lucky Me is the next Achievement to get the guide treatment:
And finally (for now), we get Two Corpses in One Grave:
That’s a whole lot of Achievement guide action, but we’re not even close to being done. Keep checking back for more. The summer is over and it’s finally gaming season again!

RT: REACH for the stars
So Reach is out, and it’s a wonder our office is functioning at all. I’m not going to lie, productivity has slowed to an absolute crawl. BUT HOW DO WE NOT PLAY? The game is too damn good. That being said, in addition to today’s comic, and Monday’s episode, we’ve managed to eek out some Achievement Hunter videos as well. Ok, enough of this. I’ve got a date with Matchmaking.

The Escapist Makes Your Time(line) For Halo
The Escapist has put together a pretty graphical timeline for the Halo franchise.
Not the events in-game, but the history of the franchise itself, from Bungie’s founding in 1991 to Reach’s release earlier this week.
