Pathways… again
I posted this on DBO, but it’s big news for ALL Bungie fans, and gamers in general; two big-time fans rebuilt Pathways into Darkness to run on modern Macs, and released the product (with Bungie’s blessing), for free, on the App Store. If you’re too young to have played Pathways when it first came out (in 1993), or you weren’t a Bungie fan until recently, or you simply didn’t have access to a machine that could play this… here’s your chance. Grab a copy, and relive the early days! Major props to Mark Levin and Bruce Morrison, who created this out of their love for the studio and its roots. Halo 4 Matchmaking Update: 4.8.13
Buckle Up: There’s a bunch of new experiences available in Halo 4 this week.
Episode 1 of Spartan Ops is available, as we begin an encore of Season 1 – the rest of the season will follow with the next episode each week. In War Games, the Castle Map Pack is now available for download. This map pack is included in the War Games Map Pass or can be purchased individually from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. With the Castle Map Pack comes a brand new playlist: Castle Team DLC, which includes vehicular 6 vs. 6 carnage.
Multi-Team is also premiering this week in Halo 4. Here are some of the game types that are available as of today:Map Game Type Daybreak Infinity Slayer Capture the Flag King of the Hill Extraction – 1 Plot SWAT Snipers Outcast Infinity Slayer Capture the Flag King of the Hill Oddball SWAT Team Regicide Perdition Infinity Slayer Capture the Flag King of the Hill Extraction – 1 Plot SWAT Snipers

We’ll continue to monitor your feedback regarding Team Objective in the future as we look to optimize the experience it offers by possibly changing the team maps, team sizes and game types that are offered. The playlist features on-disc maps, as well as Crimson and Castle maps, and the Extraction game type.
