Whoa. Check out this Cortana cosplay – amazing. Thanks to Hypertrooper, who found it via SirPwn4g3’s twitter feed.

For four years, Hold RB to Morph has been the leader of free high-definition Halo capturing needs throughout the community. As is our tradition at HRBTM, the site comes together and honors its customers with a community montage featuring the clips they generously submitted. This year, for 2012, the community’s overwhelming hospitality deserves a response in kind! And so, Mannimedia and Hold RB to Morph bring you Communitage 3. We hope you enjoy it!

Forge Quacks are bite-size videos that demonstrate some of the quirks that exist in Halo: Reach’s Forge editor. If you have a suggestion for a Forge Quack video, use the form on this page to submit it.

My prediction for Episode 15 of RvB Season 10: The Reds will find and upgrade Lopez. This is how I imagine his weapons testing simulation happening.
(But in all seriousness, I don’t think this will happen in Episode 15. :P)

Tex is offering up a batch of cake pops to the submitter of the best Plasma Grenade creation. Entry must showcase the best executed performance of a single (read: ONE) Plasma Grenade. Example: Awesome in-game kill, insane blind throw/stick, domino effect chain of events, etc. This can be done in multiplayer, planned strategically out in Forge, screen shotted into comic-book form, reenacted through interpretive dance, whatever. Just don’t send in some average Double Kill; this is for all the cake pops!
From Machinima:
The Spartan Laser slices through Covenant armor like a hot knife through butter, but would a real laser work like that?
Editor’s note: Language is mature. Proceed with caution.

From CyReN:
Might as well join in the current song craze, thanks to TheOddOne for posting these on HaloGAF. No word yet if these will be assassinations in Halo 4…

In this tutorial, we’re going to show you how to do an awesome effect called “The Run”. This effect was found by RoyalBoss Ross and LeGy ECLIPSE. Enjoy!

This week’s show highlights the guys over at the Halo Council, which has become the main hub for competitive Halo over the past year. Guests CyRen, u4iX, and LastMan talk about the history behind the Halo Council and their vision for competitive multiplayer in the future of Halo. If you are at all into the multiplayer aspect of Halo, you’ll definitely want to give a listen to this info-filled show, with breakdowns into your complete Spartan loadout: weapons, armor abilities, upgrades, etc.

HaloCommunity.com presents a Community Failtage from Halo: Reach. This is a great video to show the variety of ways to fail at Halo: Reach. Do you have some great fail clips? We will be doing this again, so head on over and sign up!
Every Monday, we feature a community member who does one or more of the following things: routinely goes above and beyond for their fellow forum members, is a positive and active member of the community, and/or sends me mass amounts of cat pictures. This week our Community Member of the Week is THEscourse. Read a little more about him below, then hit his profile to learn what exactly he has against numbers!

Gamertag: THEscourse.
Origin of Gamertag: My name is meant to be pronounced “the source”, because I was the first one out of all my friends to get the news about the new video games coming out.
Current clan/community: I’m I wanderer of sorts. I’ve never been with a clan, as I don’t like having to change my GT, emblem, or Spartan’s look. I more so prefer the environment of playing with friends. But I’m a really competitive player!
Halo game(s) you are currently playing: Reach, Halo 3, Halo Wars, and ODST.
Favorite map, game type and playlist: My favorite maps have to be Last Resort, Guardian, The Pit, Sanctuary, and Sword Base. I tend to prefer symmetrical maps. My favorite game types are Slayer and CTF. Infinity Slayer looks promising. My favorite playlist is Team Slayer, Swat, MLG, and Big Team Battle.
Least favorite map, game type and playlist: Map: Reflection and Powerhouse. Game type: Rockethog Race. Playlist: Grifball.
Preferred control scheme: Recon, all the way. 7 sensitivity, default (no inversion).
Halo playing style (offense, defense, sniper, driver, etc.): Defensive sniper, though I change spots frequently so I don’t get pinned down.
Favorite character: Cortana, she definitely makes the game for me. Johnson is right in second place, though.
Favorite Halo quote: Cortana – “Bet you can’t stick it.” Chief – “You’re on.”
Anything else we should know? I fell in love with Halo pretty late in comparison to most. I occasionally played Halo 2’s multiplayer at my friend’s house and loved the way it played. I just could never save up enough for an Xbox. Some time had passed and eventually I saved up enough money to purchase an Xbox 360, got all the Halo games and beat them each of Heroic and Legendary. I was so captivated by this universe that Bungie had created, everything felt right and in place. I realized Halo was my game when I activated the hardlight bridge on the mission “Halo” on CE. The beach battle on “The Silent Cartographer” just reeled me in. I could go on and on for days about how wonderful the Halo franchise is, but I’m sure you all get the point. I’m so stoked about Halo 4 and 343 industries, and I’m sure that we will have another amazing 10 years of Halo.
