The road to hell is paved with good intentions – guess where I’m going? A quick newspost before the day rolls over (sorry, spent pretty much the entire day removing spiders from places spiders shouldn’t be) – we missed this week’s Halo Bulletin on Wednesday, but it still contains lots of information worth reading. There’s a bunch of info on the Halo 4 Global Championship, as well as some useful info about the Playlist going live this coming week. Okay – this is by no means all the Halo news in the past week, but I’m going to try and clear out the items that have been posted on our forum recently. Again, huge apologies for the extended drought. First up – MixMaker1 got his mom, who’s never played a video game in her life, to try playing Halo 4 online. We recently mentioned the latest round of Postmortem’s awesome “Visualizing the Halo Universe” community contest series, where community members provided their take on the Forerunner Capital City from Greg Bear’s Forerunner Trilogy. This week we take a look at Halo: Spartan Assault, a story of a battle that happened on Dratheus V involving Sarah Palmer in the early days of Spartan Ops. The graphics for the game turned out really well, the controls are easy to pick up, and the game play is fun. While there is a story line to the game, focus of the game drove more to the playing experience. This week’s bulletin dives into details for next week’s Halo 4 Global Championship online qualifiers along with an announcement that winners from the last six AGL events will have a seat in the finals.
