Jordan Bell Says Goodbye
Over the past couple of years, Jordan Bell has let us know about informational pieces on Halo lore he’s posted (along with keeping us up-to-date with the Anoj Top 10 series). Life changes, though, and sometimes time gets away from us – he informed us that there’s a goodbye video on his Halo Lore YouTube channel right now, explaining why he’s stepping away (and what has kept him going up until now). Go give it a look! (And good luck, Jordan, in the next phase of your life!)(Louis Wu 20:34:36 UTC)

One Final Effort – the Strings version
Totally missed this when it was released… but hey, better late than never! Analekta published an album titled ‘Game Music‘ – and one of the songs was a version of Halo 3’s One Final Effort, by violinist Angèle Dubeau and her string orchestra La Pietà. Gorgeous! (There’s a playable version on the page linked above, or you can buy it, presumably at a higher fidelity, for $0.99.)(Louis Wu 20:29:18 UTC)

Shut up, Jack.
Hey, it’s time for Fails of the Weak! (Well, it was that time two days ago. But we’re slow.) The double Ghost fail on Shatter made me laugh. You can watch it on AH.com or YouTube. And when you’re through, there’s a new Halo HORSE (well, PIG), pitting Dragonface against Lindsay in a really short competition. Again, AH.com or YouTube, your call. Thanks, Nikko B201.(Louis Wu 22:51:48 UTC)

Ball’s in your court…
AddiCt3d 2CHa0s sent us a couple of pretty amazing Ricochet links – these were sent to her by their creator, Forest Skycap. The first one shows a seriously quick score on Haven, while the second shows off an amazing bounced score on Solace. They’re under a minute each – well worth the time!(Louis Wu 22:11:51 UTC)

Robowski sent word about Post Game Carnage Report 177 – it’s got a lot of discussion, ranging from the Halo 4 Global Championship to a new Halo Related Basebal Simulator (yeah, go listen). I mean… it’s number 177… how could you miss it? (Louis Wu 21:44:38 UTC)

Summarizing last week’s Halo
It’s not a surprise that a large portion of this week’s Halo Bulletin is focused on the Halo 4 Global Championship Finals – and the read is quite good – but there’s other stuff in there, too. Next week’s Matchmaking Playlist Update, details about the Game of the Year edition of Halo 4, and cool Pitfall screenshots round out the goodies. If you like light, our Halo Bulletin Archive contains a copy, too. (Louis Wu 21:23:42 UTC)
