Halo IRL: 117
Halo is a fictional universe. However, sometimes we catch sight of things in real life that remind us of our favorite science fiction video game franchise. This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. Enjoy the subtle Halo references sometimes spotted when out and about in the real world, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

Halo Bible – A Halo: Anniversary Tricking Montage
From FBWalshyFTW:
Hi guys, Spudmonkey here. Today I’m glad to bring you a really cool and refreshing Halo: Anniversary (yes, Anniversary!) video by Halo Bible. Now if you’re not familiar with tricking, don’t worry – this video is more of a visual experience that anyone who’s played CE or Anniversary can enjoy. The reason for this is that it focuses on the final stage of a lot of the explorations. If all we see is a shot of the Master Chief running outside the map, then unless we’ve been there ourselves we can’t judge how difficult it was to get there in the first place. So, tricker or not, all anyone can say is ‘oh, that’s cool!’. And I like that. I like being able to sit back and say that for six minutes. And, say what you will about Anniversary, it’s a pretty game, that’s for sure. I’d list off a few of my favorite explorations in this vid but there’s too many, so just watch it ‘yerself!

FUD Interviews Stephen Loftus – An Essential Visual Guide Interview
From Forward Unto Dawn:
In 2011, FUD interviewed Jeremy Patenaude, formerly of Ascendant Justice and now a writer at 343 Industries, about his work on Halo: The Essential Visual Guide. Microsoft has just released a new edition, Halo 4: The Essential Visual Guide, and this time we talked to another person involved. Though not a 343i employee, Halo fan Stephen Loftus has played an important role in both volumes of the guide. We are thankful for the opportunity to speak with him about his part in the production.
