This video demonstrates the basic functions of green screens in Halo 4. Green screens are a new Forge piece introduced in the free DLC Forge Island map.

If your walls are currently in an embarrassingly bare state, you’re in luck because the Halo Waypoint Store just received a shipment of 2 brand new limited edition lithographs from Acme Archives. Wondering just how limited they are? Check out the specifics:
• Limited Edition of 750 pieces printed, with silver foil stamp
• Individually numbered print with a Certificate of Authenticity
• Sized 16×20″, 100 lb. paper
They won’t last long, so get ‘em while the getting’s good!

So, you think you know competitive Halo, eh? I’m sure when you hear the terms “competitive Halo”, you close your eyes and picture maps like Sanctuary, The Pit, Midship, Lockout or the smaller maps of old. What if I told you that you were programmed to believe that’s the only form of competitive Halo when in reality it is much, much bigger? Big Team Battle doubles the meager 4v4 variants and pits two teams of eight against one another, featuring a much more expansive offering of the Halo sandbox. And yes, it’s competitive, too.
BigTeamBattle.net is hosting a prize money tournament this spring with the help of DaveEasily that pits 8 teams against one another for a $1,000 grand prize. Although it’s an invitational, excess teams can battle through a play-in tournament the day before the official tournament on May 4th. Check out full details at the official BTBnet forums sign-up thread.
Matches will be a best of 5 for Round 1 with the latter two rounds as best of 7s, featuring a sampling of game types from the Official BTBnet File Share. Don’t miss your chance to assemble your seven (to eleven) closest friends to create a roster for your chance to compete in the BTBnet Spring 2013 $1000 Tournament!

We are happy to announce that Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, a live-action web series that delivers a dramatic story of heroism and sacrifice, is coming to the UK on 27.05.13. If you’re in that particular region, you can pre-order the DVD and Blu-Ray now for the ultimate Halo experience!
Halo is a fictional universe. However, sometimes we catch sight of things in real life that remind us of our favorite science fiction video game franchise. This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. Enjoy the subtle Halo references sometimes spotted when out and about in the real world, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

Hello, Waypoint goers! With the addition of community-made content into Matchmaking, custom maps and game types have become an integral part of Halo’s Multiplayer. Forgers and game type creators often work hours, days and even months on their content before it’s considered for Matchmaking, and it’s usually the lack of having a ready player-base to test their maps that it takes so long. So I offer an option to our Forgers, a place to bring your maps and game types to have them tested and reviewed by a group of the top Forgers around. You’ll receive top-notch forging tips and tricks to wow your players, improve map spawn and flow, provide a better map experience and get your name out there. You’ll also get to work directly with the Community Cartographers, a select group of community Forge enthusiasts who work with 343 Industries in the search of top-quality content for Matchmaking consideration. Every Wednesday night at 6PM ET, get an invite by sending “AgentPaperCraft” a message over Xbox LIVE, or leave a comment in the Test Night Thread.
Join us this week as we test 4 vs. 4 Objective and Slayer game types on your maps. The party will rotate every three games to accommodate as many players as possible. Hope to see you there!

“Awkward Moments in Halo” is a series about the strange moments we witness when playing Halo 4. This episode focuses on teamwork. Enjoy!
Some people show their love for Halo by playing the games. Others get a relevant image permanently placed upon their body. Enjoy this particular example of a Halo-related body modification, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

Science can be boring except when you’re talking about science in video games. Why? Because it results in things like our Top 10 Sci-Fi weapons!

From Dust Storm:
Lasky is getting desperate as the situation with the Covenant and the Artifact is getting out of hand. We are introduced to Dr. Catherine Halsey, founder of the Spartan program and Forerunner expert within the UNSC. She has been locked away for some time for the things she has done, but is there a chance aboard Infinity for her to prove her worth? On the Requiem side of the story, a Covenant terrorist Parg Vol has been wreaking havoc on the UNSC and something needs to be done about it. Again, we are joined by our resident Spartan Ops expert HaloFanForLife. Enjoy!

In this video, I show you how to get into the cutscene where the hole gets blown into the ship and the Master Chief flies into it. It’s a cool area to explore, though there is next to nothing solid.
This trick was originally found by cupcake lover69, so I don’t take full credit for finding this!
