Halo Waypoint just announced that Halo: Spartan Assault will be landing on the Xbox One on December 24th this year! The digital download will be $14.99 USD and features over 30 missions, the all-new online Co-op mode, and the Operation Hydra expansion pack. In some pretty cool news, apparently fans that have purchased Halo: Spartan Assault for their Windows 8 device or Windows Phone 8 prior to December 15, 2013, will be eligible to purchase the Xbox One version of the game at the discounted price of $4.99 USD. Podtacular 401: Brevet Mutation
We are back from taking off a week for Thanksgiving here in the US and lots of things happened between the special Turkey Bowl playlist and Black Friday deals that appeared in the Halo Bulletin from two weeks ago. This week we also celebrate 343 day: the 343rd day of the year on December 9th. There are some fun festivities including a live stream happening and the ability to unlock the Commando helmet and Resistor mod. Details on 343 day is in this week’s bulletin along with matchmaking updates including Race releasing on Monday and the announcement of Escalation. That’s a lotta games.
More than 7 years ago, we mentioned a website that had 17 different Halo-themed Flash games – we just heard from Mukelo, its curator, and they just passed the 100-game milestone for Halo titles. (The 100th game is something called Elite Dress-Up 2: Female. I’m not sure I’d call it a ‘game’ – but overall, 100 titles IS impressive!) Go check out their goodies!(Louis Wu 19:44:49 UTC)
