Fails of the Weak 172 – the uninteresting edition
This might be our last news post about Fails of the Weak – the AH crew seems to have pretty much lost interest in actually doing them any more. (There were some fun fails this week – but you’d have trouble telling from watching the vid.) Anyway, here are the links for this week’s ep – AH.com and YouTube. Thanks, Nikko B201.(Louis Wu 22:55:37 UTC)

Spartan Assault – Killing you with Tiny Cuts
Arithmomaniac pointed out a review of Spartan Assault from Ars Technica – their biggest complaint is the microtransaction situation. (The weapons/abilities you need at higher levels require either experience or real cash, and experience is hard to come by sometimes.) Guess that tip from Mix earlier today is more valuable than ever!(Louis Wu 21:18:08 UTC)

ASE Ep. 88 Fatum Iustum Stultorum M2 lvl 26
If God protects fools and drunks, it’s time to start drinking, since it seems rampant AIs in Pfhor attack ships are taking out all the fools. Blackstar and Narcogen have some watery fun in the fun house of explosive BoBs, broken doors and angry S’pht defenders that is Fatum Iustum Stultorum.

World’s Most Dedicated Halo Dad
Justin Barr posted his nearly 60 year old (Wu still not dethroned) farther Guy’s entire Halo service record, which adds up to 17,000 online games played across various Halo titles. After garnering quite of bit of attention, Bravo from 343 reached out to Justin to thank his Dad for his dedication, and to surprise Guy with a one-of-a-kind gift. As a fan of Ragnarok, Guy received a poster that includes concept art and screenshots of early map builds straight from map creator Vic Deleon himself, all presented in a frame signed by the team. As pointed out by Bravo, one of the sceenshots shows off an early build of Ragnarok that still has the Halo 3 bases – neat! If that wasn’t cool enough, 343 also sent him four years worth of XBL Gold to help Guy continue his Halo passion. Thanks, CyReN.(mastrbiggy 02:09:52 UTC)
