Fails of the Weak 183
Michael and Geoff look at people doing dumb things – we’re back to really early fail types, so if you haven’t watched for a while, it might feel familiar. (The guy who tried to save the hog on Settler was my favorite.) Watch it on AH.com or YouTube – thanks, Nikko B201.(Louis Wu 18:11:51 UTC)

I’m loving the resurgence in speedrun interest
Cody Miller pointed out a new Halo speedrun that beats his last remaining record – The Maw, on Legendary. A tip of the hat from an early runner to a new leader! (It’s a killer run. Watch it.)(Louis Wu 18:02:17 UTC)

Podtacular 415: Orbital Drop Shock Titan
Titanfall was one of 2014′s most anticipated games and it definitely lived up to the community driven hype it deserved. It kinda reminds you of another game that used to have that kind of appeal. This episode, we take a look at some of the things Halo can take away from the success of Titanfall and apply it to the future of the franchise. We’re not talking about copying gameplay mechanics, but rather ideals and development processes behind the game. aPolishKorean and Justin Bryce from the Drunken Halo Podcast join us in our two hour discussion about Titanfall and Halo. As usual, we cover the latest in Waypoint news, which deserves some special recognition this week. The lovely Jessica Shea has moved up in her Spartan training to become the Studio Operations Program Manager, leaving Andy Dudynsky to take the position of Community Manager. We congratulate both on their accomplishments and wish them the best in their new positions.

A Halo Bulletin to Remember
DOH! I went to all the effort to localize the latest Halo Bulletin (looks like a pretty major CMS upgrade at 343!), and forgot to post a note about it! Go give it a read – the focus is Jessica ‘bs angel’ Shea, who just moved from Community Manager to ‘Studio Operations PM’ – congrats to her! There are other tidbits – new playlist changes, a livestream tomorrow (go watch 343’s pro team take on its community!), and some nice screens. Enjoy!(Louis Wu 23:41:59 UTC)
