Fails of the Weak 185
Jack and Geoff from Achievement Hunter are back with another collection of fails from Halo 4 and Halo Reach – the last fail had me giggling. You can watch it on AH or YouTube. Thanks Nikko B201.(mastrbiggy 20:34:22 UTC)

Pfft. He thinks he found all the cameras.
Once again, we’re late posting news of the Halo Bulletin – which is sad, because it’s a great read this week. Word of the Bravo-Cam, descriptions of Matchmaking updates, the skinny on a new Mega Bloks release (and giveaway!), news about Spartan Assault, an interview with a community Forger, and a dozen grenade screenshots fill this issue. You can, as always, read it in our Halo Bulletin Archive, if you so desire.(Louis Wu 17:41:31 UTC)

Travelogue
Quagga released Travelogue – a snapshot, as he says, of his time in Halo 3 and Reach. It’s not a montage, in the normal sense of the word; it’s not a collection of incredible shots and plays… it’s a collection of moments, some good, some bad, some both. It’s a fifteen minute summary of his time in these games, and if you’re like me, watching it will make you want to fire up your Xbox. Go enjoy it. (Louis Wu 17:34:57 UTC)

Halo 4 Music at a pretty good price
Morpheus pointed out a nice bundle at Amazon – it includes the original soundtrack from Halo 4 (on CD and vinyl), the bonus remix CD, the Making of Halo 4 Music DVD (and book), an art print, and a signed Master Chief poster. And a t-shirt. Package price – $35. (Remember – the Vinyl LE, all by itself, was $75 when it was released.) Not too shabby!(Louis Wu 16:40:47 UTC)

It’s been a good ten-year run…
FyreWulff pointed out that Gamespy is shutting down its game hosting service before June of this year – this means that online players of Halo PC (and Halo CE) will no longer have a centralized place to find games to jump into. Bummer!(Louis Wu 16:29:19 UTC)

Red vs. Blue Season 12: Teaser Trailer
A couple of nights ago, Rooster Teeth posted a teaser trailer for Red vs Blue Season 12 – go check it out! Looks like CGI will play a big role this time around – and almost everybody’s gotten a promotion! (“Captain Caboose”? That doesn’t sound right…) The season begins April 28 – less than 4 weeks!(Louis Wu 19:55:40 UTC)

Of all the questions, Frank…
Yeah, so remember how we mentioned yesterday that Cortana, the new digital assistant for Windows Phone 8, had been officially announced? So then this happened. I’m shaking my head… thanks, rhubarb. New Video Project Surfaces
Interesting thread on our forum last night – thanks to Grizzlei for kicking it off. Looks like a new live-action series is ramping up – it will be produced by Ridley Scott (among others), and directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan (best known for his work on Battlestar Galactica). You can read about it at Variety, The Wrap, and IGN, and likely a few dozen other outlets. Interestingly enough, a rumored project from a couple of months ago (that was then debunked, according to the Escapist), might have been this same deal.(Louis Wu 18:47:24 UTC)

Me. Inside Your Phone. Now.
Revenant1988 shared an article from Engadget confirming Cortana for Windows Phone, Microsoft’s answer to Siri. Arithmomaniac chimed in and pointed out that The Verge posted an in-depth article about Cortana. The most relevant information is that 343i and Jen Taylor helped work on Cortana. There is also a video walkthrough of Cortana that shows off what is possible – the synthesized voice isn’t that convincing, but the dialogue Jen Taylor recorded is a nice touch. It does seem that Microsoft plans to keep working with Jen on future Cortana developments. Neat!(mastrbiggy 20:49:45 UTC)

ASE Ep. 97 Marathon Infinity lvl 6 Where are Monsters in Dreams

Poursuit
spartansniper619 stopped in with word of a new short film – it’s called ‘Poursuit’, and though spartansniper619 is French, the movie deals in the language of lead, which is universal. (There are no spoken lines.) Go watch White Guy take on Grey Guys! Nicely done.(Louis Wu 22:43:40 UTC)
