Halo 2 Vista – Looking Good!
There’s a really nice progress review of Halo 2 Vista over at Bungie.net – new producer Matt Priestley did the writeup, and really makes me want a machine that can play this game, when it comes out! If you live in Germany, you might get to see it for yourself later this week; it’ll be premiering at the Leipzig Games Convention. Read the whole article for the goods; there’s some nice info there. Frankie, if course, was first with the heads-up.(Louis Wu 04:11:55 UTC)

Give it a read! And look for the actual update to the XBL playlists sometime later this week. Arachneya was first with a heads-up, via email.(Louis Wu 04:04:34 UTC)

VOTING NEEDED NOW
Wonga – here’s your chance to see Red vs Blue featured on the BBC website! I just noticed a poll on this page (it’s about halfway down) pointing out that there are 4 sessions at the Edinburgh Games Festival that can be covered, but only one reviewer – so it’s up to the readers to decide which session he attends! Vote for ‘Machinima’, and you’ll get to read a feature of the RT crew. Hurry!(Louis Wu 03:51:18 UTC)

Crimson Halo Gift
Gone all day, starting to catch up… first up, a new movie. MaritalBlaze54 created ‘Crimson Halo Gift’, a tribute to Clan 0kinawa’s Crimson Halo series. It portrays a modder being ganged up on by a bunch of non-modders. The MPRRS reviewers liked the camera angles, the video quality, the editing… they weren’t thrilled with the soundtrack. Such is life, sometimes. You can grab this in WMP9 format (31.5 mb) or QuickTime format (34.1 mb).(Louis Wu 03:44:20 UTC)

Episode 77: Customs and Callins and Interview with Halo2.junk.ws
Download | Show Notes
It’s the Customs and Callins show, where we cover the top 3 customs sent in, we play back the voice mails for the month, and we have an awesome interview with the guys at halo2.junk.ws. With your hosts Foo Mo Jive, JVB, and Tinkerbell23, the first grrrrrl gamer to be on the show! She comes from the infamous Cavegirls. Pod art this week comes to us from RusOmi7677. How did I miss this before?? Thanks to Ciclonic for editing this week’s show and to LairdSB for helping us with the Codex interview.
Also, there’s a new feature on the podcast: an easier way to follow along with the show notes. We output the show notes in HTML instead of PDF for one thing. Also we put the show notes in the lyrics field in iTunes so if you have an iPod Nano you can just click the center button and follow along with the show notes, including all the crazy spelling and grammar errors. It’s a long show (1:41) to make up for episode 73, so gather around and listen up!
