Brute Vid online, lots of places
For folks who don’t have a 360, or Xbox Live… the Halo 3 ViDoc ‘Et Tu, Brute?’ is available at millions of places across the web. (Well, okay, not millions. But a lot.) There are 640×360 versions at GameVideos.com (thanks, z77) and Xboxyde (thanks, Urk), and Wraith-ops.com (thanks, Wraith7n). There’s a 428×240 version at JeuxFrance (thanks, Xavier De Coster). There are lots and lots of YouTube links (here’s one, here’s another, there are plenty more). I’m sure there are others – but this is a reasonable collection of links. YouNewb has 89 screenshots. Congratulations Team Overrated
It’s now the end of another successful Podtacular Season Tournament and this time we have Team Overrated taking home the title of champions of this season. Congratulations Team Overrated.
Before I go into any details of the winners, I would like to take the time and THANK every one and every team that participated and took this tournament serious by trying to schedule their matches, playing their games correctly and avoiding any type of conflicts.
This was a new experience for me in particular, having teams from other clans/communities and I have to say that It was an amazing experience. Read on…

Thank you so much guys for coming and sharing this experience with us, we ejoyed very much having you guys around and I hope we provided at least a little of enjoyment and fun to you since this is what everything was all about anyways.
I also have to thank all of the podtacular community for helping me and giving me the needed support in special CapnKrunk. This season would have not run as smooth if it wasn’t for him helping me with this new system. Thank you Krunk. I want to also thank every one of the 96 players that entered the tournament. Team Overrated came along a hard path beating teams that were not only tough but also SERIOUS candidates to the championship such as Team Us and Team Grunt Inc. Therefore we salute you and congratulate on this amazing milestone. Congratulations Team Overrated.I would like to also make note of Team Chicano Clique. They also traveled a hard path beating teams such as Cavetacular and Rampant Fury but thanks to their indisputable team chemistry they never let their main focus of being in the finals get away. Congratulations also to Team Chicano Clique for this great season.

MereCatfish provided us with this early capture from Bungie’s 7-minute-long Brute documentary. This one shows (along with an Elite and various lines of fire and information about local terrain) alterations made to the heads-up display, with the shield strength bar separated from the motion detector and placed dead center, straight up.
What appear to be four grenade counters appear on the left: Frag, Plasma, Spike… and Shield?
Current weapon and ammo information is in the upper right, and the lower right (where normally a single-wield weapon muzzle would protrude) is clear.

Yeah the cat is out of the bag. KP will be joining us for customs and callins! We’re flippin’ out about having Bungie’s community homeboy on the show. Just to lay it out there, we won’t be answering any questions about Halo 3 on this show because we don’t want KP to get flogged. Again.
We’s lookin’ for you to send in stuff like this:
- Custom games. We’ll be reading the top few customs people send in. Send in a good one and it may get read by the man! Just click submit news and tips on the right side of the page and send it in with your gamertag. Be sure it’s actually fun to play. Cliff diving on lockout doesn’t count.

You know you play too much Halo when you go to throw a baseball and you do the throwing motion twice and then stop, and then smack your forehead realizing you just did a real life RRX. - Voice mails. It’s the time of the month to dust off the answering machine and play back the voice mails, naarated by CapnKrunk, Got some ideas about the Halo 3 story? Wanna sing us a dorky song? - Tales from the foxhole. Remember that time when you were going up to grab the flag on relic with 3 teammates and some guy on the other team jumped out and got 3 no scope headshots? Got a cool or funny story like this? Send it on in, we love these! This is one of our favorite segments of the month, it’s like we’re right there wicha. You know, like flapjacks and colla greens.
Get your stuff in by Friday night the 20th
at 5:30pm EST. As usual the earlier you get it in, the more likely it will be on the show. Move it, soldier! UPDATE: We’ll be talking about every little detail of the ViDoc bombshell the following week.

Something Vidoc This Way Comes
Bungie has posted information (TASTY information) about the new video documentary to be released soon – where ‘soon’ means ‘tonight at 2 am PST’. If you don’t have an Xbox 360 and access to Xbox Live Marketplace, don’t fret – there will be options, in the not-too-distant future, we promise. What will you see here? Well, it’ll be your first glimpse of Halo 3 campaign play (though Bungie warns that none of it is set in stone – things can easily change before the final product ships).
