Halo 3 – One Sided Scarab Assault Gameplay

ASE Ep. 137 Marathon EVIL 15: Septic Exodus Part 1
We’ve finished with the canonical Marathon Trilogy and are moving on to third party scenarios, starting with EVIL. In this scenario, a UESC ship from Tau Ceti runs into a spatial anomaly that sends them far away where we encounter something dark and evil.
Two levels ago we were manhandling moons. Then we had a pool party. Now we’re in the sewers doing platform puzzles. Things are not going well.
EVIL can be played, like the other Marathon games, using the open source Aleph One engine which you can get here for Windows, Mac and Linux:

We use irons’ Co-Op script, which gives weapons and ammo to both players if either picks any up, and prevents weapon loss on death (so items can’t be destroyed in lava or slime). The script also allows one player to teleport to a destination set by themselves or their partner, in case co-op players run into a problem a solo player would have to restart for.

Podtacular 445: First
IGN is giving us the full treatment of Halo news this month as part of their IGN First and we got a feast of a meal to chew on this week. Starting things off, we were told that Warlord would be the sixth and final map remade for Halo 2 Anniversary. We also got another look at the Halo Channel, which will be available alongside The Master Chief Collection release and an overview of the major changes taking place to each game. The launch multiplayer playlists were also announced as well as every achievement under the sun that includes 4000 gamerscore across 403 achievements. This is a packed week of info, so buckle up Spartan!

Let’s Play Destiny Co-Op #13: The Awoken and Ishtar Collective
Blackstar and Narcogen go to the Reef to visit the Queen and her very odd brother, then go back to Venus to try and find a Vex brain to dissect. On the way, they get distracted by a Public Event, and then ambushed by respawning waves of Vex while Ghost tries to hack a computer, before finally contemplating the word salad that is Destiny’s level naming convention.
