Nukedude pointed out that he has hosted all 5 of KORHAL’s movies, in one place. If you’re interested in what KORHAL’s been up to, here’s a decent place to start. (If you don’t know who KORHAL is, you can just watch the movies; it doesn’t really matter.)

The Spike TV Video Game Awards were given out last night in Las Vegas, and though they won’t air on Spike TV before tomorrow night, GamerFeed has announced the winners. Halo 2 was up for ‘Most Anticipated Game’ – it won. Halo PC was up for ‘Best PC Game’ – it won. (It was also up for ‘Best First-Person Action Game’ – but lost to Call of Duty.) Not mine, actually – Morningstar’s. (The tribute, that is. I wasn’t – oh, never mind.) The MorningStar decided there was a missing feature here at HBO – a way to read stories written by forum jester Skavenger, without having to search through the archives. (Skavenger has never opted to submit his works to our Fan Fiction section.) Star figured that while he was compiling this list of jewels-in-the-rough, he might as well polish them up a bit; clean up spelling, punctuation, that sort of thing. In theory, with his help, this section will continue to be updated, if new stories are added to the forum. Without further ado, I direct you to the Skavenger_s7 section of HBO; may you find a laugh or two.

progamerz stopped by our forum to point out three new sites at HaloCity, all modding-related; check out SomeRhino’s Domain (nice shots of an in-progress map), Skin Deep (shots of racing stripe skins for hogs, among other things), and Digital Adrenaline (no real info yet, just a Flash intro).

In the ‘too much time on their hands’ category, Hikaru-119 takes home the golden penguin for his Munitions count on all campaign levels of Halo. Gah.

A monster collection of Miscellaneous Artwork for you today (17 pieces), due to the fact that the last update was about 2 weeks ago. Everything from misplaced comics, to pencil sketches, to animated mini-movies… a real grab-bag. Go check it out.
