Podtacular 463: Halo 5 Beta Breakdown: Maps
Guest-less this week, we take a look at the maps from the Halo 5 Guardians: Multiplayer Beta. We looked at the strengths and weaknesses of each map from playability to design to weapon placement and choices and more. We left the Breakout maps out of this one that will be covered in next week’s Breakout show. There were some other Halo news things we covered like this past weekend’s Xbox Ultimate Game sale and the HCS tournaments happening this weekend. Teleporting Projectiles
Interesting! Lord Zedd has posted a video showing teleporters working with projectiles (you fire into one end, it comes out the other). Apparently, this was built into the game, but never activated. I’m sort of glad (I can’t tell you how frustrating it would be to be killed by a rocket that came out of nowhere – erm, out of the nearby teleporter – in a matchmade game) – but I can see how this would be pretty interesting to play with!
