ASE Ep. 156 Marathon Tempus Irae 17: Ameseno Italy
We’re starting a new Marathon adventure– this time fighting the Pfhor in Italy of the past in third party scenario Tempus Irae!
We brave a dark and foreboding castle with hidden watery secrets to find the next Leo manuscript.
Tempus Irae can be played, like the other Marathon games, using the open source Aleph One engine which you can get here for Windows, Mac and Linux:
Tempus Irae and other third party scenarios for the Aleph One engine can be downloaded here:
http://source.bungie.org/scenarios.php#more
We use irons’ Co-Op script, which gives weapons and ammo to both players if either picks any up, and prevents weapon loss on death (so items can’t be destroyed in lava or slime). The script also allows one player to teleport to a destination set by themselves or their partner, in case co-op players run into a problem a solo player would have to restart for.

Let’s Play Destiny Co-op #51: Queen’s Wrath Bounties Part 2
Destiny’s 1.2 patch is live with lots of changes, large and small, including some preliminary Queen’s Wrath bounties to get us ready for the full launch of the House of Wolves expansion this week. We take on the next few of these.
In this episode we revisit the starting area of the Cosmodrome and discover the Fallen have moved back in with some of their new toys, as well as a new Ghost. Then we go back to Venus take on Beltrik the Veiled again (but we did that just for the experience, so it don’t count) and then on to the Moon to face down Saviks, Queenbreaker.

Let’s Play Destiny Co-op #50: Queen’s Wrath Bounties Part 1
Destiny’s 1.2 patch is live with lots of changes, large and small, including some preliminary Queen’s Wrath bounties to get us ready for the full launch of the House of Wolves expansion this week. We take on the first few of these.
Some notes– this video, unlike almost all the previous ones, was assembled from downloaded recordings of the Xbox One’s Twitch broadcast feature; as a result, there are some audio issues and generally lower video quality. We are either going to find workarounds for these or return to the usual recording method in future House of Wolves episodes.

Podtacular 482: Truth Uncovered

Ben continues is search for the truth after the bombshell of a revelation that Deon Govendor was in fact dead for more than seven years. However, he hasn’t heard from Mashak or FERO in three days, leaving him to wonder if something happened to him. Ray eventually comes around with some info that reveals Jacob Walker as a professional voice actor, discrediting John’s origin of boot camp at the age of six. Ben follows up with Anthony Petrovsky, one of the ODSTs ordered to fight John and was severely injured. Eventually, the burning question of what the Spartan program was had to be asked and the details were gruesome, particularly the clones part for Ben. At then end of the episode, FERO makes her appearance hacking into Ben’s network providing direction for Ben to take his story in, far past anything he could have imagined.
