HMV – Bohemian Rhapsody
Back in 2003, Ross Mills created a Halo music video set to Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, using footage from Halo. There’ve been versions since then… but today HeavenlyYeti pointed out a Halo 3 version posted on YouTube back in March, created by a group known as Frenchie Films Productions – pretty nice work! Check it out. (Louis Wu 17:29:07 UTC)

Boom-Dee-Yada!
Mariachi found a great parody of the fantastic Discovery Channel “I love the whole world” commercial (original viewable here) – you can watch it at CollegeHumor.com, or at GamersProdigy, the site that made it. It’s not all Halo – but it’s all good.(Louis Wu 14:17:26 UTC)

Hindsight: Floodgate
Ascendant Justice continues with their Hindsight series, walking through each level of Halo 3. Yesterday, they released Floodgate, a short level which nevertheless signals a major turning point in the game. As always, the level of detail is very, very high – you’ll likely read a few points you never noticed while playing the game. The Addendum, as usual, provides a Legendary runthrough of the game. Thanks, mendicantbias00 (and DHalo).(Louis Wu 14:07:38 UTC)

Hawty McBloggy found a video about a rather strange affliction – not sure I see the humor in it that she does, but it definitely had its moments.(Louis Wu 13:44:30 UTC)

TTL Demag0gue mentioned that Reclaimer 54 is now available for viewing – it uses some nice screenshots gleaned from Haloscreenshots.net, and the news post suggests that if you’d like to participate in the NEXT episode, your own screens might be used.(Louis Wu 13:40:51 UTC)

Ranked BTB – Safe for the time being
Another note at Bungie.net – apparently, the tweaks applied to the Ranked Big Team Battle playlist (in terms of game variety, and the bonus of double experience points through June) has boosted population enough that Bungie is not currently worried about having to cancel the list. (That’s not to say if everyone leaves tomorrow, they won’t reconsider – but for now, it’s safe.)(Louis Wu 13:31:50 UTC)

The Last Spartan

I listened to the Halo 2 soundtrack and found this cool part in The Last Spartan so I wanted to write the sheet music.
It’s only a midi file and sibelius score.

I don’t know if today’s comic has actually happened, because I no longer take the time to talk to Burnie about anything relevant to him. I figure after 10 years of working together, I can pretty much just assume anything I want to about his life. By the…

9 – 5
We’ve always thought of the Master Chief as the Last Great Hope of Mankind – but Alexander Farr (a guest artist for ZZoMBiE13’s Another Halo Comic Strip) wonders what things would be like if he were a little less… altruistic.(Louis Wu 20:17:25 UTC)
