More Halo Universe Panel Writeups
IGN wrote up a summary of the SDCC Halo Universe Panel – but for my money, you can get more out of a fan-written piece, like the one Avateur posted on our forum. Good stuff!(Louis Wu 11:28:22 UTC)

MLG Update – Final Boss
As no doubt many of you MLG fans have heard, Walshy was dropped from the team earlier this week, thus meaning that they only had three members. Final Boss was soon on to Str8 Rippin and stealing Neighbor from them, that’s right Neighbor has left Str8 Rippin to Join Final Boss. Whether Final Boss has had him in mind for a while and have been planning to drop Walshy we just don’t know the official reason that they split up. This now means that Str8 Rippin only have three members in there team, who will be filling this gap? Will it be Walshy? We will just have to wait and see what happens in the next few days.

Palluxo: Stubbs Unusual, Fun
Palluxo.com has a (late) review of the Mac version of Stubbs the Zombie. Fair warning: it spoils the entire plot, if you happen to mind that, and doesn’t really describe the gameplay.

Too Human
I have been addicted to the Too Human demo this week, and I wondered what anyone else thought of it. I know the game has had some big hype, especially when it was originally going to handle 4 player co-op and a loot system equivalent to Diablo.
When I played through the 1st time, I was only slightly impressed with the game. The loot was cool, but the controls were a little cumbersome to me. After playing it a few more times and really getting used to the controls, I am really looking forward to the release. The loot doesn’t seem to be too random right now, but that might have to do with it being a demo only.
Is anyone else playing the demo? If so, what do you think?

MaStalee’s Halo 3 Montage 2
Z let us know about MaStalee’s Halo 3 Montage 2 – it’s in 720p, with beautiful editing, and some great gameplay. I think what I liked most about this montage was the situational awareness – the clutch flag saves, the precision grenade tosses (I can’t remember seeing predictive throws like this since Halo 1), the constant eye on the ball (so to speak). A blast to watch! (The gorgeous image quality didn’t hurt.) It’s pretty big – a quarter gig for just over 6 minutes of video – but worth it, I think. Go watch!(Louis Wu 12:40:04 UTC)

Terminal Failure pointed out a very funny ‘Stump Speech’ over at the New Yorker – it could be Obama, until about the third sentence. The Halo reference that makes this mentionable here shows up about halfway through, but the whole thing is worth reading. Give it a look! (Louis Wu 11:51:37 UTC)
