Our second to last episode covering the Hunt the Truth campaign, we find Ben about ready to give up on his hunt when he’s attacked by ONI and saved by FERO. With renewed commitment after FERO told Ben she was about to risk her life to bring down ONI, he steps up and pursues the lead given to him by Petra, telling FERO to hold off on her attack. Once on the planet Bliss, Ben heads straight for the coordinates in the middle of glassed wastelands. Narrowly escaping a glass storm, he reaches his destination finding an abandoned ONI relay station. What he finds is all the information he needs to corroborate Chief’s innocence on Biko and all the info on the actors, himself and John that he could ever want to finally bring ONI to justice. Again we are joined by Toa Freak from Halo Canon.

Not the Posters We Deserve, but the Posters We Needed
Quirel showed off on our forum some pretty amazing ’21st-century movie posters’ as he put it, of the Chief and Locke! Why again aren’t theaters using TV screens for movie posters yet?(MacGyver10 17:36:37 UTC)

Halo: Fleet Battles Concept Art and Painted Bust
As we noted Sunday, Halo: Fleet Battles finally has a release date! As a part of pre-ordering the tabletop game, there was the option to receive a resin bust of Rho ‘Barutamee, one of the Covenant commanders depicted in some awesome concept art by Kory Hubbell! She pointed to an incredible painting of the actual resin bust in the description of her concept art as well that’s worth checking out! Thanks crunchbitenuva!(MacGyver10 22:04:33 UTC)

While most of it is info we’ve seen or heard already, Giant Bomb put up the video from their live stream at E3. Bounce-A-Gon let us know of two parts of the video of interest to Halo fans in particular with a bit from Phil Spencer and Kudo Tsunoda, and then from Josh Holmes and Frankie of 343 Industries.(MacGyver10 13:51:46 UTC)

Reliving old menus
Wow, neat. Halome.nu has put all main menus from Halo titles online – Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo 3: Mythic (!!), Halo 3: ODST, and Reach. It’s mostly for the music; you can’t interact with the menus themselves. Still… cool! Thanks, Bounce-A-Gon.(Louis Wu 23:34:40 UTC)

Batman makes him sweat
Gametrailer’s Michael Huber is tough to stomach in large doses, but if you can handle a minute, swing by ‘The E3 of Dreams – Huber Hype‘ and jump straight to 1:30. He talks to Ike Amadi about Halo 5, Spartan Locke, and Batman. Thanks, Grizzlei! (Louis Wu 23:28:23 UTC)

The Know talks Halo 5
Rooster Teeth sat down with 343’s Chris Lee and Kevin Franklin to discuss Halo 5, and its presence at E3 – in a 20-minute interview, they cover everything from gameplay to the Hololens demo. Tons of great little details – if you missed this when it was live-streamed, watch the archive now! (Louis Wu 23:23:24 UTC)

The Sprint – now on YouTube
If you’ve heard good things about The Sprint: The Road to E3 (the ViDoc series 343’s been publishing on the Halo Channel on the Xbox One), but don’t have the ability to watch it on the Halo Channel, Bounce-A-Gon has your back – they’ve posted it on YouTube, and he’s linked all 4 episodes so far. Go watch – it’s great!(Louis Wu 23:18:06 UTC)

Splitting up the Reach Statue
tadboz decided his Halo: Reach Legendary statue was too bulky – so he decided to break it apart, and create new bases for each model. The final products are really cool! Go take a look.(Louis Wu 23:11:26 UTC)

Locke – a man with two sources
Over on reddit, LairdM put together a few sources that suggested that Mike Colter might not be voicing the character of Locke any more in Halo 5 – that he might have been replaced by Ike Amadi. A followup by Frankie, on NeoGAF, confirms this – Colter is still the FACE of Locke, while Amadi is his voice. Thanks to Car15 for the heads-up! (Louis Wu 23:00:38 UTC)

Under Locke and Keynote
This week’s Canon Fodder is meaty – everything from a look at Armigers (the Promethean Soldier we saw in the reveal) to a peek at new armor variants coming in Halo 5, to a reminder about why you want to check out the latest Sprint on the Halo Channel. Go read – get excited! Thanks, Grim, for coming by to let us know it was up! (And hey, while I’m here… let me say that I’m thrilled that HBO has gotten a new voice in MacGyver10, who jumped in and saved our front page from looking totally empty during E3 – welcome!)(Louis Wu 18:58:37 UTC)

ASE Ep. 160 Marathon Tempus Irae 24: You Gotta Sin To Be Saved
More Catholicism-flavored puzzles from Cosimo in this episode, at least before the game goes out of sync.
We’re doing a new Marathon adventure– this time fighting the Pfhor in Italy of the past in third party scenario Tempus Irae!
Tempus Irae can be played, like the other Marathon games, using the open source Aleph One engine which you can get here for Windows, Mac and Linux:
Tempus Irae and other third party scenarios for the Aleph One engine can be downloaded here:
http://source.bungie.org/scenarios.php#more
We use irons’ Co-Op script, which gives weapons and ammo to both players if either picks any up, and prevents weapon loss on death (so items can’t be destroyed in lava or slime). The script also allows one player to teleport to a destination set by themselves or their partner, in case co-op players run into a problem a solo player would have to restart for.

Tempus Irae has its own spoiler guide:
