Armor customization discussion
Over at Beyond Entertainment, Josh ‘Sal1ent’ Holmes posted a note about the armor customization choices coming in Halo 5. It’s not clear from the reaction of our own forum whether the final system is a step back from previous games, or whether people are misunderstanding his words. Go weigh in with your own thoughts! Hunt for the Truth: Following the Trail of the Halo 5: Guardians Story
Gamespot seems to think the wording of a Halo 5: Guardians panel at the San Diego Comic Con is hinting at the long-talked about, never seen Halo TV series with Stephen Spielberg. Here’s the panel description, straight from the Comic Con event schedule.‘The panel will bring new insight into the mysteries surrounding the Master Chief and build connections between the stories that have been told so far, and sneak peeks of the stories yet to be told in game and beyond.’ Thanks Urban Reflex!(MacGyver10 18:57:50 UTC)

Those that play video games on the internet might have heard of the ‘Humble Bundle’ before where they package a collection of PC games with a ‘pay-what-you-want’ style transaction and the money going to charities and the developer. Podtacular 492: The End of the Road?

The finale of Hunt the Truth finds Ben Giraud with a treasure trove of information on the attacks at the embassy on Bliss involving the Master Chief. He’s going all out with his story, taking everything he’s discovered and going full distribution on prime time. As he’s done in the past, he transfers all the data he just mined to Ray for safe keeping and gets a hold of Anthony Petrovsky to give him the time and place things will go down. Petra Janecek checks up on what he found only to learn of his last ditch effort to bring down ONI bit he also takes a moment to thank her for everything she’s done for him. Now the only question that remains is will it be enough this time. We would like to thank Toa Freak again for being with us to the end of this extraordinary series.

No Split Screen or LAN for Halo 5: Guardians
I believe we might have seen some hints at this before, but ArsTechnica has confirmed there will be no split-screen of any kind in our new Halo adventure. There’s also the talk of no LAN support which is a downer for the communities (including our own) that get together to play Halo in person at times. Thanks for the heads up uberfoop!(MacGyver10 20:15:10 UTC)
