Our RTX experience this year was nothing short of extraordinary as we celebrated our 10 year anniversary of the show. In addition to our episode 500 panel, we hosted a reunion party for all of our fans who attended RTX. We had some awesome people come by and game away a lot of Halo swag. We did get to see the show floor and attend a few other panels while we were there, but admittedly, this year was all about our anniversary. We can’t thank everyone enough who helped get us here during our 10 year journey.

‘I Love Bees: Definitive Edition’ Now Available!
We just mentioned it yesterday, and now it’s here! The I Love Bees: Definitive Edition is now available on iTunes and a straight RSS feed. They also made available their full podcast review that starts with the trailer and tells the story – including some fascinating behind-the-scenes tidbits they’ve unearthed. This is a true love story to the audio drama/ARG of I Love Bees that many of us experienced here on HBO during the Halo 2 release. Canon Fodder – Jurassic Ark
The first GrimBrother stopped by our forums again this week with another piece of fodder for you canon lovers. This week it’s all about the novel ‘Halo: Hunters In The Dark’, but don’t let that stop you from reading this if you’ve yet to pick up the book (which you should buy if you haven’t)! There’s plenty on the new characters in the novel, an interesting look at the wildlife mentioned in the book and an interview with the writer himself, Peter David. Eric Nylund, Amazon and No Correlation
With the recent article in the New York Times about the reported working conditions at Amazon, I guess many in the games industry did a bit more Googling than they normally do. While Eric Nylund (largely known around these parts for penning ‘The Fall of Reach’) left Amazon in July of this year, Gamespot, IGN and others are reporting it this week as news. Eric posted on his blog that there is no correlation between the New York Times article and his leaving the Amazon Games Studio and that he only cried once while working there. I Love Bees – The Definitive Edition Trailer and Samples
Many around HBO loved the viral ARG that released with Halo 2 called I Love Bees. While bits and pieces of the story are available here and there, Gamewatcher over at BusyGamerNation.com has been cataloging the story told in the radio-style serial that accompanied the I Love Bees marketing campaign, and working his best to remaster the audio from the highest bit-rate samples available.They will release the new and improved audio odyssey soon (along with a companion podcast to tell its stories and celebrate the ARG itself), but for now they have a few samples to listen to and a trailer of sorts for the undertaking. Sprint In Halo 2 Could Have Been
Gamerguy2002 left a cool video in our forum showing off some animations for sprint that were tested all the way back in Halo 2! Serpx then shared a comment from Reddit of the actual animator for sprint in Halo 2. We recorded our 500th episode at RTX where we held an anniversary reunion party and panel celebrating our ten year history.
