What’s for dinner, mommy? Spartan, dear.
urk has highlighted a really fun-to-watch mongoose dualtage, entitled ‘Roadkill‘ – H3WM WakkaWakka and iCantHaveFun show off their splatter skillz in this fast-moving romp. One thing I learned by watching it – folks really, really, REALLY underestimate single riders on a mongoose. (The Rats Nest tidbit about a minute in is amazing. Just amazing.)(Louis Wu 21:20:51 UTC)

I would like to apologize to the viewers for the second half of this video. For some reason I always get stuck holding the camera at the end of the night, when I’m the least steady. If the shaky camera work and slurry commentary start to make you dizzy…

Halo 3 Fails: Episode Seven
The Halo 3 Fails series released Episode 7 over the weekend… I think my favorite is the ‘Gravity Fails’ clip on Guardian. Funny stuff! Thanks, DeathhawK7 (via Bungie.net).(Louis Wu 17:33:19 UTC)

Hard Justice: Episode 9
DigitalPh33r’s Hard Justice series continues with Episode 9 – Bernard is starting to come off as unbelievably naive. Smart… but naive. Also some other weird stuff. Go watch! Thanks to urk, and the Bungie Blog, for the heads-up.(Louis Wu 17:26:47 UTC)

Halo Wars Screens – in Hi-Res
Last week, we mentioned that some new Halo Wars screens had been released. You can find these at most gaming sites around the net by now… but always in a screen-sized version, and almost always with a watermark. We don’t believe you should have to be limited by watermarks, or by arbitrarily-resized shots – so we’re provding them to you at the resolution they were released in – 5120×2188, for the most part. Gives you a chance to look over the character artwork pretty well.(Louis Wu 16:40:27 UTC)

A Cardboard Master Chief in Florida
Paula (you might remember her cardboard Spark) created a cardboard Master Chief with a rocket launcher for Halloween last year. (Yes, she’s a little late getting the word to us. She knows.) She took him to the local mall – and was kicked out because of the ‘no toy weapons’ rule. Bummer! She also went trick-or-treating in the costume… and then swung by a Florida comicon attended by Steve Downes. She got her helmet signed. Later, she painted a shirt to look like the Chief’s armor, and wore the helmet to school as part of a Homecoming ‘Dress up as your favorite holiday’ event at her school. Swing by Photobucket for a slideshow showing off most of this stuff!(Louis Wu 15:17:48 UTC)
