Interesting – Peter Jackson did an interview for OnFilm Magazine in which he discussed, among other things, the Halo movie.

Jackson said he expected renewed interest from Hollywood studios 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures to have Halo made as the Halo 3 video game will be released later this year.

He and partner Fran Walsh would be involved again in Halo only if Blomkamp is the director. “We wouldn’t want to do it with anybody else. It’ll be Neill’s call.”

Devin Olsen was in Wal-Mart, and noticed a new ‘Halo 3 Pre-Sell Kit’ – a poster and a reservation for the game. Costs $10, but that goes towards the price of the game, so the poster’s free. Last night, JAY132 stopped by to say he’d gotten a banshee into space. What does that mean? Well, it means Bungie bothered to make the sky above Valhalla high enough that if you actually GET there (which you’re really not ever supposed to do), you can see the atmosphere fade away. Amazing.
