Due to popular demand we will again have a THX outing on Thursday night. This time we’ll be meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Jones Valley Super Target shopping Center. Contrary to what JDogg might tell you, Buffalo Wild Wings is NOT closer to the Rave than it is Chili’s. In fact, it is directly behind Chili’s. Feel free to bring spouses, significant others, children, cousins, pets, trolls, and fictitious creatures from Greek mythology. Appointed time will be 7 PM. Come late if you have to; some of us will probably be there until 10-11 PM. After doing a leader’s recon this weekend I can confirm the wings are good and the drink selection is gratuitous. Hope to see many of you there.

Lukems has a new top story up at Bungie.net; this one is about the exceptional audio in the Halo 3 beta. Sound and music have always been strong points of the series, but I have to say that I think so far Halo 3 is taking it to a whole new level; possibly as high as eleven.

Sorahn has set up a sort of halo mini-site at halo.sorahn.net; within that there’s a Halo 3 beta subsection where he’s laid out all the ranks, weapons, and medals.
