‘Carter, Use Armor Lock!’, Halo and Pokemon Make Halomon
The crazedone1988 put together a neat video crossing the Halo games with Pokemon. Kind of funny too that an infamous HBO naysayer is the rival.(MacGyver10 19:29:41 UTC)

Let’s Play Myth Co-op #07 Bagrada
We’re playing the next of Bungie’s famous games, the Real Time Tactics fantasy wargame, Myth. Set in a mysterious land of cyclical war and destruction, Myth lets you command an ragtag army in a desperate battle against the forces of the Fallen Lords.
We venture into a frozen pass to discover why our scout’s signal fire has gone out.
Due to the tireless work of many community members over the years, the Myth engine has been modernized to work on current operating systems, although you’ll still need a copy of the game’s data files to play. Check Ebay.
For the engine itself as well as texture enhancements, go to Project Magma:
There’s also multiplayer metaserver available for competitive carnage:
A bunch of other Myth-related downloads are available at The Tain:
Intro and outro Music “Into the Breach” by Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori from Myth The Fallen Lords.
Myth developed by Bungie Software Corporation, currently trademark owned by Take Two.

Frankie, Burnie Burns and Goose on the history of Grifball in Halo
With the Grifball gameplay from yesterday, I missed some extra content that was over at Polygon, but Kal picked up my slack and brought to our attention an interview with Frankie, Burnie Burns and Goose on the history of Grifball.(MacGyver10 18:24:16 UTC)

Halo’s Arbiter Will Kick Battletoad Butt In Chicago via Killer Instinct Soon
We now can see a little more action than before from the Arbiter character that will be in the upcoming season 3 DLC for Killer Instinct. There’s also some clarification from Frankie (via NeoGaf) in Nikko B201’s post in our forums that this is not Thel, but more of a generic Arbiter that encompasses characteristics of multiple Arbiters.(MacGyver10 16:58:05 UTC)

Pretty Sure That Incinerator Cannon Is Backwards Mr. Knight
Spartan armor from the Halo games would be quite handy in many other video games, but specifically in the notoriously difficult ‘Super Ghosts N Ghouls’. The Hat-Loving Gamer took it upon himself to translate that armor and many of the weapons from Halo games into the classic video game, and the results are as one would expect when a cybernetic-supersolider’s armor takes the place of plate mail from medieval times. Invisible Flood in Halo 3 Sounds Like the Worst Idea Ever
Lord Zedd was playing around in the code of Halo 3 again, and managed to restore what was called the Assassin Skull. With a little creative thought, he was able to give the AI in-game invisibility as the skull might have done. (Thanks gamerguy2002!)(MacGyver10 16:43:01 UTC)

Multiverses In the Halo Universe?
Comic books have long used it to explain different looks, unintended consequences and jumps in their story, but I had never thought of the possibility of Halo having a multiverse as well. A post at the Halo Archive gives thought to how this might be possible in Halo. (Thanks Grizzlei!)(MacGyver10 16:40:18 UTC)
