We’re playing the next of Bungie’s famous games, the Real Time Tactics fantasy wargame, Myth. Set in a mysterious land of cyclical war and destruction, Myth lets you command a ragtag army in a desperate battle against the forces of the Fallen Lords.

In this episode we’re once again joined by Ooga Booga, one of the authors of the high definition tagset, along with Renwood and Road. The Myth Myth HD Total Conversion v1.31 provides higher resolution units.

Due to the tireless work of many community members over the years, the Myth engine has been modernized to work on current operating systems, although you’ll still need a copy of the game’s data files to play. Check Ebay.

Destiny’s April Update brings a new questline from Variks and Eris as the Taken Prince Malok tries to assume dead Oryx’s powers. This episode includes the Pretender To The Throne story mission, collection quest, the Blighted Chalice strike, a guest appearance by One One Seven and Vault of Farce webcomic author Stuntmutt and bonus Yoda jokes.

We face the final encounter with Oryx and reflect on how King’s Fall compares to other Destiny endgame activities as well as boss fights in different games by Bungie and others.
