GDC Fireside Chat
Looks like Geoff Keighley will be hosting a fireside chat for GamesBeat – the topic will be “How to Build a Blockbuster Franchise”, and one of the two guests is Joe Staten, Bungie’s design director. Life can be fragile
Logan Starline, known to the Halo community at large as BerserkerBarage, died yesterday from complications resulting from an infection. He was 27 years old. That’s simply too young to go. He’s been around the Halo scene (and has been a Bungie fan in general) for quite some time – you can read an ‘Average Joe‘ interview urk did with him last fall, and you can check out his video walkthrough of Marathon 2: Durandal. If you’d like to pay your respects, his good friend Achilles1108 has set up a forum thread at Bungie.net. (ElusiveEagle519 posted the news on our forum, as well.) I’m at a loss for words; he was a nice guy I’d met once and played with online a few times, and I NEVER expected to be writing words like these about him at this stage. AH: New Mass Effect 2 DLC Announced
Fragger here, just a few minutes ago Bioware announced that they will be releasing the next bit of DLC for Mass Effect 2 in late March. It is titled: The Hammerhead & Firewalker Mission Pack. This will be FREE to all that have the Cerberus Network! Here is the official blerb from their site:
“Download the Firewalker pack and gain access to 5 new missions featuring the Hammerhead. The Hammerhead is a heavy assault vehicle that hovers over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometers per hour and features a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive maneuvering. Coming late March, free to all Cerberus Network members!”
No achievements announced for it but none the less, more Mass Effect 2 is good news. And to close this out here is a picture!
