Well, this is a bit of a shocker, but Bungie has just announced a 10-year publishing agreement with Activision for their next IP. This raises a few questions since Activision publishes for multiple consoles. In the agreement, Bungie will retain the ownership of its new IP and will remain an independent company. Also, what does Microsoft have to say about this? For more info, check out Joystiq’s post here. Thanks to PK for posting this in the forums.

RT: New RvB Revelation, RT Spring Update and Store Sale!
Hey Everyone,
there’s been a ton going on here at Rooster Teeth lately, so we thought we should give everyone a brief update. First of all, the 8th season of Red vs. Blue, “Revelation,” is in full swing. The 4th episode went live last night, and if you haven’t seen any of the new season yet, you should really catch up. There have been a few changes…
We’ve also just launched a new season of RT Shorts. The first video, “Prototype,” is in the archive. This video contains some sensitive information, so hopefully we won’t get arrested and have our computers confiscated by the police for showing it to you.
And last but not least, we’re having a one-week, 10%-off-everything store sale. Just use the code “revelation” at checkout to receive your discount. It’s good on everything in our online store, but you need to hurry. The code expires Monday, May 3rd.
For even more news on what’s been going on at RT, check out this detailed update. And if you’re not a member of the site, you can still sign up for our mailing list so you don’t miss anything.

AH: Gamers Rapport – 009: In the Past

This week’s Gamers Rapport brings the gravy as always. Smack dab in the middle of Knuckles’ Slump Game AHTV of Fallout 3, the crew talk about the L4D2 Passing DLC, 8bit gushes about Monster Hunter Tri, and Fragger, well, Fragger’s just Fragger. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. A little Weekend Hunt talks, discussion about gaming trailers and music top out this episode. Give it a whirl.
Those voices in your head are none other than Knuckles Dawson, Fragger, & 8BitBass.
Don’t forget to join the Gamers Rapport Group for all the latest news and discussion.

AH: Iron Man on Playstation Home, War Face Update
Starting tomorrow (29th April), Playstation Home users will be able to access a free Iron Man mini game, located in the Audi Space of Home. The game will have your Home Avatar suit up and fly a winding course through a skyscraper jungle collecting reactors and avoiding mines, trying to get as a low a time as possible.
Why a low time? Well, when the competition period is over (June 2010) the 10 fastest times on the leaderboard will get to keep the Iron Man armour for their Avatar.War Face Update
We’re still waiting for the final votes to come in on Round 2, so if you haven’t voted, please do so here.

Beta End Date announced by MS
According to OXM’s Ryan McCaffrey, Microsoft has just sent out a press release which lists May 19 as the end date for the Halo Reach Beta. You’ve got a bit over two weeks to beat the crap out of it… (It’s still possible it’ll be extended; Bungie’s been saying all along that if they need more data, they’ll keep it going.) Update: I’m an idiot, this information is fully on view at Bungie.net – along with other goodies about the leadup. Be sure to check your ODST disc tomorrow for an introduction to the beta starring Aisha Tyler!(Louis Wu 22:27:32 UTC)
