There are those who said this day would never come… it looks like Halo: Uprising #3, the third of the four-part Marvel comic series in the Halo universe (originally slated for release in late September, 2007) will be on store shelves this week. I’m really hesitant to post this before the comic has actually been seen in the wild (the release date has been pushed back so many times it’s become a running forum joke)… but Marvel’s page says August 13; that it hasn’t changed by now suggests that it might actually come out. Maximum Fear sent word of a new tournament set up to raise money for St. Judes Hospital, which does work on children’s cancer research. The tournament will take place in Campaign mode, with scoring on – but the setup will require cooperation between participants, rather than competition. (At least in the early rounds…) It’s $10 to sign up – more if you choose – and all collected money will go to St. Judes.
