RvB Nesting Dolls, Round 2
Back in August, in time for PAX, RvB’s MissZahrah painted a set of Russian nesting dolls as characters from the Red vs Blue videos. She presented them to Burnie at the expo (here’s a final picture of the full group) – what a fan! Well, last week, she unveiled a new collection – this one is the entire Red Team (including a dead Donut). The original picture is in her RvB image collection, but that’s not visible to anyone who doesn’t have an account on the site, so I asked if we could host a local copy. She said sure. ODST Helmet for Charity
We mentioned Laird’s upcoming Child’s Play charity auction in passing yesterday; we got mail last night from Sean Bradley, who submitted a tricked-out ODST helmet to the mix. He made a commercial for it, plus he’s posted a collection of ‘in-progress’ shots and finished shots for the helmet itself. Finally, there’s a thread detailing all of this at the 405th website. Podtacular Summer Plans
Most (if not everyone) has noticed that we have not produced a show in quite some time. This is primarily due to end of college for the hosts and Dust Storm getting a summer job. A few things are going to change for the summer. Since there is not much to talk about until we get more info on Halo: Reach (except that it comes out on September 14th) we will be cutting back on production of the podcast and focus on bringing the site and clans up to date. We will still be doing shows, but only every-other week, unless we have special guests. We do have two special guests coming up this next month. The first is CMNeir from Halo 3 Tricks and later, we will have someone from ForgeHub. Throughout the summer, we will read any and all customs, frags, tales and voicemails for the appropriate show, so send stuff in whenever you feel like it.

Console Wars Episode 2
Chairleg Productions started a series called ‘Console Wars’ back in mid-2008. The first episode was very good. (Higher-res download links are available in this post.) Then there was silence, for 2 years. Today, they’re back, with Episode 2… and the result is fantastic. Funny story, great video effects, nice cultural references… definitely worth a watch.
