AH: Weekend Achievement Hunt

At the end of E3 week, why not join in one of our 3 Achievement Hunt’s going on this weekend:
Returning as host, we have D347h5D00r is going for the multiplayer achievements in F.E.A.R. 2.
Show that you’re not afraid by joining in from 12 Noon EST on June 19th.
Contact him here on Achievement Hunter, or via his Gamertag: D34d5D00r
Next up, RoboDevil is going down and dirty with some heavy metal multiplayer in Brtal Legend, you’ll need the Hammer of Infinite Fate DLC for the achievements. I’m told there’s also be something called Nazi Zombies in Call of Duty: World at War so make sure you ask him about that.
This looks to be a where and when sort of thing spread across June 19-20.
Contact Gamertag: Masked Cleric to arrange a suitable time.
Finally, there’s MunsOsl is bringing the Firefight to the Covenant in Halo 3: ODST, he’s going to be going for the standard Firefight achievements on June 19th and then a Legendary Co-Op Campaign on June 20th. Make sure you get in on the right session by contacting him here on Achievement Hunter or Gamertag: A7BurstHeadshot
However, if people want to run through the Mad Moxxi DLC on Borderlands you should make your voice heard. MunsOsl might trade this for the Legendary Co-Op Campaign if more people want to do this on the 20th. Although, he does ask that no one use modded weapons for this.
If you want to host a future Weekend Hunt, post the details in this group thread to get some frontpage attention.

RT: New Shirt: Rated M for Mature
Let the world know that if a game doesn’t have a giant M on the box, it sucks. The, “Rated M for Mature” shirt features artwork seen in this week’s PSA on the back. Your friends, family and the general public should know that you like your games to have shotgun decapitations, limb stuffing in hidden orifices, de-skinning, decapamemberments and more!

RT: Drunk Tank #66
This week’s Drunk Tank (aka Rooster Teeth Podcast) was recorded ahead of time due to the fact most of us are out of town at various Rooster Teeth related trips. This week Geoff discusses the “motorcycle” accident he was in the other day. You can get the podcast via iTunes, Zune Marketplace, or via direct download. You can always check out more info about what we discuss and talk about the podcast with other listeners at our official podcast group. Enjoy!
If you have some time to spare, we are conducting a survey on people who listen to the podcast. It is totally optional and if there are any questions you don’t want to answer, please feel free to leave them blank. There is a short 3-4 minute version and a longer 6-7 minute version.

AH: E3: Top 5 Nintendo Trailers
So E3’s in full swing with all the console developers showing off their best of the best. Since it’s been a while since we had the Top 5’s, how about an E3 special. I’ll be doing the best trailers from Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo as well as all the Multiplatform games. So, let’s get started with Nintendo, who fans and critics alike are picking as their top press conference of this year, and for good reason too, check out these five titles that’ll be hitting the Wii:
5. Kirby’s Epic Yarn
It’s been a while since this pink dude had his own game, and this new title gives him exactly that with a rather interesting twist, but still the same 2D side scroller fans should be used to.
4. Metroid: Other M
Samus also returns in Metroid: Other M, the 3rd person action, 1st person shooter that’s rolling up a storm! No pun intended!
3. Donkey Kong Country Returns
Bananas, barrels and mine carts means only one thing, another Donkey Kong Country!
2. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The brand new adventure for Link, which looks to be combining the style of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, and combining it with Wii Motion Plus to make a rather impressive showing.
1. GoldenEye 007
It may have different graphics, levels, a change to the gameplay and even the new Bond. But fans of the classic like myself can’t help but get warm feelings of nostalgia at the idea of a remake for Wii!
Thanks to GameTrailers.com for all the E3 trailers!

Reach completes… Bungie.
VideoGamer.com interviewed Joe Tung and Eric Osborne at E3 this week – space talk, Kinect and why it’s not in Reach, a distinct lack of discussion about Master Chief, and more! A key tidbit (one focused on by VG.com, actually) is that nothing was cut this time around – all proposed features made the product’s shipping featureset. This is potentially HUGE. Thanks, ElzarTheBam.(Louis Wu 11:08:55 UTC)
