Bungie unleashes new teaser for Halo 3 thingie
Today at 7:07 PST, Bungie followed through on the next wave of their cryptic teasing with a new video touting, well, something related to Halo 3. Best bets would say this looks like some sort of expansion pack for Halo 3’s campaign, perhaps delving into an auxilliary storyline or just giving us more of that Earth-based combat in New Mombasa that we’ve been waiting for all these years. Either way, it looks to be the biggest news to come out Halo since Halo 3’s spectacular launch just one year ago today.

Prepare to Drop
The countdown has ended, and the reveal is… staggering. A new teaser trailer, filled with win. I won’t spoil it for you, but I WILL tell you that there is a TON of information in this one. This will be picked over, frame by frame, but the Halo faithful – but even a first watching should get your blood pumping. Soon You Will Be… Clean
Bungie restarted the delayed countdown from this year’s E3 with the Superintendent urging everyone to stay calm and keep clean– at least until about seven minutes from now. Images on the intertubes (thanks Veegie) suggest perhaps something as dramatic as a trailer for a brand-new Bungie game.

Now that the Halo 3 update has had time to sink in, many of you have questions. Fortunately we have answers.

7 on 7 – clarified
There’s been quite a bit of confusion about the new ‘7 on 7’ achievement, and what you need to do to earn it. SketchFactor stopped by our forum today with a clarification:The real scoop now is that you just need to hit the #7 in EXP in ANY playlist on the 7th of the month.
So… you can earn 6 EXP in Team Slayer and then earn 1 more on the 7th and earn it. You can also just go into the special playlist that is released on 10/7 and earn all 7 there.So… you NEED to hit number 7 in a given playlist to get it – but if you’ve already PASSED number 7 in all playlists, you can still do it in the special playlist that appears on that day.
