Prometheus notes that Major.Dump continues to update his gallery page at The Halouvre – check the bottom few images. Every time I visit that gallery, I’m impressed by the amount of work that must go into composing those shots – and he really has a knack for it. Killer stuff. Go look.

The Best Game Evar? Or Just No Competition?
How long will this keep up? Today marks 77 weeks since Halo 2’s release. And the number one game on Xbox Live, according to Major Nelson? Yep. Halo 2. Wow.

No Online Halo Today
As noted on Bungie.net, Xbox Live will be down for most of today – in theory, they started maintenance a couple of hours ago (2 am PDT, 9 am UTC), and it will continue for the next 12-14 hours. This means no Halo 2 today. Don’t bother Bungie about this – it’s not their maintenance.…

Blood Gulch 120
Elnea has whipped up an alternative Halo track called ‘Blood Gulch 120’ – it’s a melding of the Red vs Blue theme ‘Blood Gulch Blues’ and the Halo theme, all cranked up to 120 beats per minute (she needed a workout tune). OboeCrazy’s Oboe adds a great touch! You can grab it from Elnea’s .Mac…

WCG – Terrestrial Halo?
I’m not really sure what it means… but Halo 2 IS on the list of games offered for the WCG 2006 season – but it’s listed under ‘Terrestrial Games’, which maybe means US-only? I can’t tell. Anyway, they’ve got Blizzard down as the Developer, so who knows.

Shirty.
Who’da thunk it? One One Se7en turned three years old today – nicely timed with the use of artwork on the first HBO shirt. Stuntmutt took advantage of the announcement to show off one of my favorite shirt designs (that we passed on, because it required more colors than we could afford) in a special…

Reid18 Montage 4
Z pointed out another fun montage at Halo2Forum – it’s Reid18’s Montage 4. The guy gets some amazing cross-map sticks… it’s a little heavy on the effects, but it’s pretty entertaining. 146 mb, WMP9 format.
