There are no references for this, but if it’s true, it’s pretty interesting; Portalit lists the top ten selling games (all platforms) on the US sales charts (for this week? Dunno) – and Halo 3 – the UNRELEASED Halo 3 – is in there twice; once at 2nd place (!!) and once at 7th place…

NPR’s “All Things Considered” had a piece on the Console Wars yesterday; the gist of the piece is that hardware has been driving Nintendo’s current sales lead, but with the release of Halo 3, Microsoft is betting that software will take over (and the tide will turn).
