Thanks to Banzif, who points out on our forum that the personal stats pages on the SETI@Home server have been vastly improved. Halo-related image at the Story page
Over at the Marathon’s Story page, another interesting picture has surfaced. An alternate cover of a book called “Armor” (one of the original codenames for Halo) has an image of soldiers dropping from a dropship with no parachutes… quite a lot like we understand Halo works. Hmm… Pax.

Mesoamericans influenced by the ringbuilders?
The logo on the right side of the new Halo pic scanned by R.net was mentioned by them last night… but the weird glyphs along the bottom were not. They look vaguely mesoamerican… can anyone place them? Does this suggest that Aztec or Mayan glyphs were created by non-earth-dwellers? Thanks to The Marathon’s Story page…

Poll smash at TiberiumSun.com
Mentioned a couple of days ago at Battleground: Halo, but we slipped until Edgecrusher sent us mail: TiberiumSun.com has a poll up… “What caught your eye at E3?” Red Alert is still in first place (not surprising, given where the poll is), but Halo is a close second. See what you can do, okay? Pax.

30 units behind alt.comp.hardware.overclocking… will the Halo SETI Marines climb another notch tomorrow? Gamecritics.com restates their case
Yesterday, we mentioned an article at Gamecritics.com about Halo. Several readers took offense at a line in the introduction: “… Bungie, who made a name for themselves making killer games on the abysmal MAC platform.” Dave Finlayson (among others) wrote to the article’s author… and his post to our forum shows that it CAN be…

HBO News Archive item 983
Seems Stomped might have gotten upset over ballot-box stuffing… There was a furious spate of activity at roughly 6:30 UT today, in which the Giants vote increased by over 2000, and the Halo vote by about half that… then the poll was reset, and soon after, the Stomped E3 site became unreachable. Stomped! Pax.
