Exile – New Halo 4 Map, New Halo 4 Screenshots!

August 31st, 2012

If you're at PAX, chances are you're currently battling it out on Exile, an earthy, circular canyon bed interconnected by a network of caves. If you're not at PAX, we don't want you missing out on the fun, so here are some screenshots of this brand-new Halo 4 multiplayer map. By the way, I didn't even pixelate them this time. You're welcome. ;)

Collapse the Box – A Halo 3 Montage

August 29th, 2012

From Alex:

This is a Halo 3 montage from Spudmonkey, edited by himself, entitled, "Collapse the Box". The gameplay is fantastic, featuring a bunch of fresh Salaya-esque stuff with a heavy focus on trick jumping (see, you CAN do this stuff in matchmaking). The editing is great too, showcasing the necessary smooth theater work to accompany trick jumping footage, and I always like it when players edit their own footage since not many people seem to do that nowadays. I also thought the title was really sweet. Enjoy!

This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. Enjoy the subtle Halo references sometimes spotted when out and about in the real world, and if you have a picture you'd like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!
