From Mega Bloks:
Limbo Studios started causing quite a stir in the Mega Bloks Halo community when they began posting beautifully composed photographs on the Mega Bloks Halo Facebook page some months ago. A one-man-team based in West Virginia, Limbo is headed up by 18-year-old Jacob T. Teague. We got in touch with him this week to ask him some questions about his work and how it relates to Mega Bloks. Go read!

This is a short montage I made with Halo 3 gameplay from Vip3 and Synister. I’ve edited for both of these guys in the past, so feel free to go watch those videos as well. I’ve really been in the mood to edit some Halo 3 clips, and I’ve always wanted to edit to this song, so I thought why not take the opportunity… enjoy!”
From Laird:
RvB CanWest, which takes place May 18-20, started out as an event centered around Rooster Teeth. Its sole purpose was to bring our local community together with the hopes of having Rooster Teeth’s staff attend our event and interact with their fans north of the border in Vancouver, Canada. At first that is what happened, but soon many attendees came from numerous different online communities and asked if CanWest could incorporate them in the event schedule. Since then, we have had special guests from Bungie Studios, 343 Industries, Xbox, Rooster Teeth Productions, and many more, providing us with some spectacular content. We now embrace any internet community that wishes to be a part of CanWest as either attendees or special guests.
Our entire event is dedicated to helping raise funds for Child’s Play and the MS of Canada. Hope to see you there!

With the recent release of Minecraft on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, a lot of the HaloCouncil.com staff have been playing non-stop. A new spoof of the famous Halo 3 commercial “Believe” was released in a Minecraft version. Check it out!
Some people show their love for Halo by playing the games. Others get a relevant image permanently placed upon their body. Enjoy this particular example of a Halo-related body modification, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

Fellow reclaimers from all over, feast your eyes upon a small replica of a UNSC Paris-class heavy frigate! This replica is made out of wooden coffee stirring sticks, hot glue, and paint. It’s about 18-20 centimeters long, and the name of the ship is the UNSC Pure Wooden Defender. Here is a video that shows the full frigate and a montage of the creation.

This is my attempt to meld the two things I love: Oboe and Halo. In this clip, there’s nothing a Wheelmen likes more than to see a helpless Elite strolling in the sand…

This is a Halo: Reach MLG montage from BAKSMAK, edited by Joshington. The gameplay’s good, showcasing some sweet Multikills like the Double Kill lift snipe into an under pressure Triple on Countdown and the finale Killtacular. The editing is good too, flowing with the song very well while showcasing some really cool effects. Enjoy!
From Forward Unto Dawn:
Here you will find an exploration of each of the levels from Halo 3: ODST. Hindsight: ODST is not to be mistaken for a walk through tutorial or gameplay guide; instead you will find a thoughtful tour of a beautifully crafted game and the encounters, easter eggs, and fun found within.
We hope you enjoy our look at Kizingo Boulevard.

With Halo 4 on the way, I thought it’d be awesome to revisit some of the Halo: Reach achievements for those of you who want to nab them all before the next game is released. This video features five achievements which can be obtained in Campaign, and yes, I’m playing on Legendary. The achievements are:
1) Two Corpses in One Grave
2) Banshees, Fast and Low
3) Lucky Me
4) If They Came to Hear Me Beg
5) Wake Up, Buttercup
If you can think of any other Campaign or Firefight achievements you’d like me to do (no, I’m not going to spend another hour hitting the one million mark in Firefight!), let me know!
What can you do with a spare 15 minutes? Well, you could watch half of a primetime sit-com episode. Purchase a cup of coffee or tea from a nearby shop. Take a power nap. Or you could grab a friend and take a speedy run through any mission in Halo: Reach! This week, your quick feet can earn you a quick pile of credits, so get ready for:
CO-OP DASH – 15,343cR
Clear any Campaign mission on Heroic, in co-op, in 900 seconds or less.
To complete this challenge, you need some help, so head on down to the forums if you need a co-op partner!

Halo is widely known for it’s multiplayer gameplay, but for those into the story of Master Chief, you know there is a rich universe that is ever expanding with so many details to drive someone mad. The two mad people on the show today are GrimBrother One from HBO and Slightly Live from Forward Unto Dawn. The discussion is heavily geared to the story between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4, gathering information from the news that we’ve received and the stories from the books. Enjoy
