Halo is a fictional universe. However, sometimes we catch sight of things in real life that remind us of our favorite science fiction video game franchise. This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. Enjoy the subtle Halo references sometimes spotted when out and about in the real world, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!
From Jamie:
Koko Bear and Price Duckworth travel to the western kingdom to ask King Farnham for help to defeat the evil that has been spreading through the land. They encounter the root of the evil, Lolo bear, and have an interesting conversation in the haunted graveyard with a demented scientist.
From Zachery:
I built this cool looking Minecraft creation, inspired by the Halo 4 E3 trailer. It’s that big Promethean ball/ship/whatever-the-hell-it-is, seen shortly after the Infinity crashes. It took about two hours to build. The hardest part was figuring out what angle to build it from. It was a little annoying at first because I had to undo everything and move it up a block. Anyway, enjoy!
From TheFrenchfryjordan:
I made an easy-to-understand video summarizing the extended fiction in the Halo Universe, from Precursors to the activation of the Halo rings. Hope you like it!

Some people show their love for Halo by playing the games. Others get a relevant image permanently placed upon their body. Enjoy this particular example of a Halo-related body modification, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

From The Little Moa:
This is a dualtage for MLG pros Lethul and Formal, edited by Muggsy and CJnew. It has got to be one of the greatest montages on Halo: Reach for a long time, so I thought it was worth sharing. Enjoy!
From Community Customs:
It’s begun. They dropped in just under an hour ago. Swarms of them. Hundreds more than our outpost around Jupiter lead us to believe. At first, we thought it was an all-out invasion. That we were doomed. But now… Now it’s as if they’re searching for something. Something that could only be provided on a slow, tedious, Monday morning. The Questions are streaking overhead again right now. The loudspeakers blasting the population below demanding the truth. The truth? Are those Questions sure they can handle the truth? It’s time to find out. Suit up, Spartan. Winter Contingency has been declared. All Answers are mobilized and ready. It’s time to launch the Spotlight.
Pete isn’t an active member of Community Customs. In fact, if you ask him, he’ll say he’s not a member at all, and that’s alright, because we don’t consider ourselves some sort of exclusive club or clan. To us, “member” merely means, “registered on the site,” or perhaps, “regular player.” What Pete is, however, is a well-respected and outstanding member of the greater Halo Community at large, and that makes him more than worthy of some time in our modest little Spotlight. If you’ve played in any of our Customs Nights, you’re guaranteed to have been subjected to a minimum of five rounds on Knockin’ Zombs, which is, by far, our favorite creation of his. But that’s not all he’s known for… Pete is the author of the Flaming Ninja Challenges, Last Forger Standing, daily (for a time) single panel Halo-related webcomics, and so much more. His most recent claim to greatness, however, is his “Forge with Pete” series on Halo Waypoint. It’s a series where Pete showcases a simple minigame before explaining how it works and how to build it. The results are often, as expected, ingenious in their re-purposing and twisting of Halo’s mechanics. But enough of my glowing comments, let’s see what he has to say for himself.

As for Halo, love the story, the gameplay, the community, etc. I love posting on these forums because everyone is very nice and fun to talk with. Thank you for reading. 🙂
