From CruelLEGACEY:
Filmed in Vancouver on the set of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, this video details the development of the Master Chief, both creatively and physically, and features interviews with Stewart Hendler (Director of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn), Daniel Cudmore (actor and suit performer), and David Monzingo (Legacy Effects).
This is a transcription of the Halo 4 soundtrack sample that 343 Industries released on their website a while back. The sample contains two songs (parts of two songs?) of which I transcribed the first part. The epic part. I have a PDF file of the sheet music, as well as the .mus file, and an .mp3. Enjoy =).
Also, does this song have a name?
Reader dalekbob submitted two transcriptions of music from the original Marathon game: Chomber and New Pacific (Reprise), both written by Bungie founder Alexander Seropian.
From G4:

Big Action on the Small Screen – A G4 Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Interview
From Greenskull:
I had the opportunity to fly to Vancouver, BC and check out the set of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. I was joined by my fellow Halo Waypoint Monitors and community members Nevin Douglas (CruelLEGACEY) and Jeff Easterling (GrimBrotherOne). We hung around the set, met the cast and crew, and filmed some interviews with the talented actors and 343 Industries employees that helped make the series possible.
If you prefer your action to be of the two on two variety, hop into Double Team this weekend because starting today and ending on Sunday, games played and completed within that playlist will present you with the chance to receive a 26,000-credit bonus.

Halo is a fictional universe. However, sometimes we catch sight of things in real life that remind us of our favorite science fiction video game franchise. This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. Enjoy the subtle Halo references sometimes spotted when out and about in the real world, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

A team of avid Halo fans will be striving to raise as much money as possible for the Special Effect Charity in a multi-day online gaming event, as they work through the entirety of the Halo game series, all streamed, live.
Special Effect is a charity that is dedicated to helping disabled people enjoy gaming in a way that would not be possible without their support. Altering, developing, and adapting games aids people in hospitals, hospices, special schools and more to enhance their quality of life using technology.
“We’re dedicated to using technology to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities.”
Haloathon is a battle of stamina as a group of gamers attempt to complete the campaigns of the six Halo games in the console series back-to-back. Every second of the event will be streamed live from 7pm BST on the event website at www.haloathon.com.
Viewers can expect to be entertained by not just the gameplay, but also games, competitions, and huge giveaways throughout the event. Haloathon is very focused on making viewer interaction a big part of the fundraiser.
Donations will be made by the viewers through the website, which will go directly to Special Effect. This will contribute towards extending the runtime of the event and qualify the donators for raffles, rewards and other surprise bonuses.
A limited edition, signed and sealed copy of Halo 2 will kick off the run-up to the event this Tuesday at 10pm in the form of an eBay charity auction, with 100% of the proceeds going to Special Effect. This very special collector’s item was donated to the team by Vic DeLeon, a level design artist at 343 Industries, and is signed by the Bungie staff who worked on the game, some of whom are now working on Halo 4. The auction will end during Day 2 of the live event going to the highest bidder.

I made a Halo fan trailer using cutscenes from past Halo games, set to a simple yet beautiful song that sets a sort of “grand” scale mood. The trailer primarily focuses on the Master Chief and what he has done to get where he is. Enjoy!
