Having created many images in the past for ReadyUpLive, I was tasked with creating this fan-made Halo 4 poster at my leisure. I finally finished it and posted it on the front page for all to enjoy. I sincerely hope you all enjoy it, as much as I did creating it…working on Halo-based images and graphics never gets old for me!

CruelLEGACEY joins me in Toronto to talk about our trip to Vancouver to check out the set of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. We discuss all the stuff you didn’t know that happened behind the scenes while we were on set.

From Greenskull:
I had the opportunity to fly to Vancouver, BC and check out the set of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. I was joined by my fellow Halo Waypoint Monitors and community members Nevin Douglas (CruelLEGACEY) and Jeff Easterling (GrimBrotherOne). We hung around the set, met the cast and crew, and filmed some interviews with the talented actors and 343 Industries employees that helped make the series possible.
In this video I interview Tom Green, the talented dancer-turned-actor who plays the role of Thomas Lasky in Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.
Every Monday, we feature a community member who does one or more of the following things: routinely goes above and beyond for their fellow forum members, is a positive and active member of the community, and/or sends me mass amounts of cat pictures. This week our Community Member of the Week is Daedalos42. Read a little more about this particular fan below, then hit their profile to learn their opinion on the unicorn of the sea!
Gamertag: Daedalos42.
Origin of gamertag: Greek myths, birthday (June 9 = 6 and 9; 6 x 9 = 42).
Current clan/community: RVBW, BWO, and, of course, Waypoint and HBO.
Halo game(s) you are currently playing: Reach, ODST, and 3 Multiplayer.
Favorite map, game type and playlist: Superstition; KotH; Anniversary and customs.
Least favorite map, game type and playlist: Sword Base; Headhunter; Firefight Arcade.
Preferred control scheme: Bumper Jumper (sometimes Green Thumb); Sensitivity: 4; Non-inverted.
Halo weapon specialty/preference: The Magnum and Plasma Pistol at close range, and the DMR at long range.
Halo playing style (offense, defense, sniper, driver, etc.): Whatever I feel like doing at the moment. In Slayer, I mostly stay back and only go into the midst of a battle when I see an opening. In objective games, I usually stay near my base to guard it or drive my teammates around the map.
Favorite character: Douglas 042 (for obvious reasons).
Favorite book: Ghosts of Onyx or Primordium.
Favorite Halo quote: “Jumping feet first into hell isn’t your job, making sure it’s crowded when you get there, is.” (From one of the Armour Permutation descriptions in Reach.)
Anything else we should know? I misplaced my mic soon after I got my Xbox, so I’m not able to talk in-game. I am a casual player, and pretty mediocre, but that doesn’t stop me from having fun playing video games. I also enjoy having discussions online with fellow community members.
From TheWarpZone:
This is an acoustic cover of The Warp Zone song, “I’m in Love With Halo.” It’s performed by Ryan Tellez and TJ Smith.

Last week, for our Friday Caption Fun festivities, you provided quips for an image featuring perhaps the only situation where tank does not beat all. Here are the top captions you left for that particular image!

To everyone who is still looking to grab those elusive Defiant Achievements such as “All Alone,” “Don’t Touch That!” and “Paper Beats Rock,” look no further! SHADOWSTRIKE1 is hosting another Community Playdate, and this time, it’s aimed at helping you tackle your Halo: Reach gamerscore! The night will consist of a party of Waypoint friends going into the Living Dead and Squad DLC playlists with a certain goal in mind – Defiant maps.
What this means is that we will only be voting for Defiant maps in these playlists to increase your odds of obtaining those hard-to-come-by achievements. In no way is this a boosting party. Nothing will be given, and achievements will still be earned. However, with everyone voting for Defiant maps constantly, you can bet that you’ll have plenty of chances at grabbing those achievements.
If you would like to attend, please visit the following sign-up thread and let me know if you plan on attending. Hope to see you there!
From Rooster Teeth:
Jack and special guest Joel take a look at a week’s worth of failure within the planet of Reach. Watch out for flying Grunts and rockets!
Editor’s note: Language is mature. Proceed with caution.
Whether you like the vehicular action of Heavies or the feeling of seven people watching your back, hop into Big Team Battle or Anniversary BTB this weekend because starting today and ending on Sunday, games played and completed within those playlists will present you with the chance to receive a 20,000-credit bonus.
Happy Super Jackpot Weekend!
From CruelLEGACEY:
Stewart Hendler (H+ and Sorority Row) sits down with CruelLEGACEY, Greenskull, and GrimBrother One to discuss the upcoming web series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.
