It’s been mentioned a number of times in our forum, but I’m not sure I’ve ever front-paged it; I’m going to do so now, so that the info is here for any to find. The December issue of OXM Magazine has a very large (7 magazine pages) excerpt from the upcoming Ghosts of Onyx book; it’s pretty much the entire prologue. I won’t spoil it for those who want to read the book in its entirety, but it certainly answers a number of questions floating around about the book in the past few months. If you’re worried you won’t be able to wait until October 31 to read this stuff… find the mag, there’s at least something that might slake your thirst a little.(Louis Wu 13:03:19 UTC)

Halo 3 Demo Rumor Gets Annoying
There’s a rumor floating around that a Halo 3 Demo will be coming out on Xbox Live. (This time, Horus let us know on our forum.) We hate rumors, generally; 99% of the time, they’re false, and they always increase the amount of correspondence we get. There’s nothing that suggests that this one is any different (JeBr0nie found a small article at OXM UK, but there’s nothing really in it to suggest that there’s more to this than wishful thinking) – but we wanted at least to acknowledge that it’s out there, so that you can hold off on sending us those notes telling us about it. If it looks like there’s any truth to it whatsoever, you KNOW we’ll be on it so fast that Frankie’s head will spin li- um, never mind. We’ll be on it. H:P Maintenance Week
Media Temple has hooked H:P up with a sweet new Grid Server (we can now take a B.netting and more). I’m in the process of moving all of the public downloads to a new system (because the old download links are teh borked). Give me a day or two for all of the download links working again. It may be sooner if I can stay off of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on XBOX Live Arcade.
