    Narcogen, over at Rampancy.net, has written up a frame by frame analysis of the TV ad; lots of detail. Much of this material has been hashed out on our forum (and others), but Narcogen does a good job of sticking to what we KNOW, rather than what we WANT, and he brings a pretty hefty body of knowledge of Bungie and the Halo series with him; this is worth reading by anyone who feels like speculating about what the various tidbits mean.     It’s about time to get locked and loaded for the next show. This time we’ve got a big one in our sights!

    Good thing I was wearing brown pants when I saw that shield grenade

    So you’ve seen the glory that is the new Halo 3 commercial. Now we want to know what you think! The community is buzzing about all the potential features revealed. What did you think about the shield grenade? How about the sprint at the end? Which one will be mapped to the X button? Who do you think the kids are? What did you think of the new brute armor? Or the central brute with the hammer? Or how about the new wraiths? What about those plasma shots that came out of nowhere, what were those? What do you think the 3 dimples in the glove mean? Did you catch any little secrets we missed? What did you think of the commercial all together: good or bad?

    Lots of people have been working on content from the Commercial – the news today contains edited video, icons, there are lots of Wallpapers posted in our forum (and sent in via email)… but one piece of Fanart that blew me away was a speed painting done by Rahll, over at DeviantART (it’ll be in our next Misc Art update). Thanks to SESpider for the heads-up. While you’re there, be sure to check out Rahll’s Ghosts of Onyx piece, posted about a month ago, and an older tribute to Mehve.
