Bungie Weekly Update

H3 Humpday: Alpha Trolling
Bungie preys upon new Alpha testers yet again this week. We stuck it to them in the Team Skirmish playlist, playing CTF, Team Slayer and even a new variant which we vaguely describe for you. That’ll teach ’em to help us test our game.

Halo 3 Beta Sign-up Information
Halo3.com has updated to explain the three ways in which you can enlist for the Halo 3 beta. They also note that if you signed up for the beta after seeing the Halo 3 commercial last month, you can expect to hear between January 22nd to 26th.

CMT Releases #1 Map Pack
The Halo:CE mod team, CMT, has done it again. They have released the first map pack of a series. This map pack includes 4 new Halo:CE maps, Coagulation, Icy Swamps, Dissolution, and Fragment. All of these come with a custom HUD, custom weapons, and more.

Bungie Store to Go Down for Maintenance
This weekend the Bungie Store will be going down for a short period of time, four to five hours, while Sunrise Identity performs maintenance on their servers. During that time you will not be able to use the store.

Halo 3 Humpday
This week the Bungie Community Team took on the Halo 3 Multiplayer team in a Humpday Challenge. We played a recent build which the multiplayer team itself compiled earlier in the day. Potential for hax and chetz? Astronomical.
