Halo Developer Diary. Thanks to dcd for pointing us to the 1st installment of a Halo Developer Diary over at PlanetXbox. Jaime Griesemer reflects on “some of the sweeping (and to some of our fans, disturbing) changes that Halo has gone through.”

Kamikaze informs us that the May 2001 issue of Wired Magazine has an Xbox feature. Not sure if there is any Halo info but it might be worth checking out.

OliverHeilwagen sends us in a very nice piece of Wallpaper. It’s 1024×768 in size. There are now 153 items in our Wallpaper section and it’s growing daily.

Dinosurfer informs us that he has uploaded a 1024×768 Wallpaper named halowarriors.jpg to our Uploads area. We’ll be adding this to our Wallpapers section just as soon as we get Crux off the dial-up.

First Polish HALO Site. Oliwier Ptak sends word about Fpp.pl, one of the biggest online gaming networks in Poland dedicated to First Person Perspective games. They now have a Halo site at http://halof.fpp.pl. Check it out.

-[b.A.d]-VirGin sends us word of a French Halo clan, the blood, Anger & destruction’s Corporation, the bAd.corp. Their web site is a http://www.halo.be.tf and has a very nice Flash animation.

Eric drops us a note to inform us that only one job remains on Bungie’s front page, the other two must have been taken.

Our good friends over at Blue’s News have mirrored the low-res Halo movie (34.6MBs). Their download page also lists 3D Gamer as a source for the movie as well. Check back for mirror sites as we get them.

Kudos to Harry for creating a page of screen captures from the latest Halo movie. If you can’t grab the movie then get the next best thing.

Kudos to Darkman on our forum who spotted a second Halo movie over at ZDNet. It’s a longer better one. Go read the hands-on Halo review as well.

Kudos to Tom Van Sinden for pointing out that Bungie are now looking for a level designer for Halo. A pretty cool job. But read the requirements carefully. There are a few surprises in there.
