There are many big names in the Halo Community, and in our quest for greatness, we have the privilege to meet some awesome people. This week, we get to talk with CMNeir and MidgetDance from the famous Halo Tricks Series on Youtube. Chris gives us the rundown on Halo 2 Tricks, the series that started his machinima career and some of the other short films and series he does under Neir Productions. We also take a look at some Reach tales from our mailbag. Enjoy.

So it’s been a couple of weeks since we did this, and editing was a bit of a nightmare. Me, Brent and a few other random people talked about the Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo press conferences, with a unhealthy concentration of Kinect and something else that will be covered in the show. Our next show will be our Halo: Reach Beta Tales show where we will reminisce back stabbing, armor locking, jet packing awesomeness. We want to hear from you on what your best or favorite moment in the Beta was. Use the Big Green Button to let us know what makes your moment awesome.

Most (if not everyone) has noticed that we have not produced a show in quite some time. This is primarily due to end of college for the hosts and Dust Storm getting a summer job. A few things are going to change for the summer. Since there is not much to talk about until we get more info on Halo: Reach (except that it comes out on September 14th) we will be cutting back on production of the podcast and focus on bringing the site and clans up to date. We will still be doing shows, but only every-other week, unless we have special guests. We do have two special guests coming up this next month. The first is CMNeir from Halo 3 Tricks and later, we will have someone from ForgeHub. Throughout the summer, we will read any and all customs, frags, tales and voicemails for the appropriate show, so send stuff in whenever you feel like it.

We decided to go ahead and do a show for the day just to cover some of our impressions on the Halo: Reach Beta. All the quirks, bugs and issues we found we talked about in this episode. Next week’s show will be the community’s feedback. Enjoy

The first show on the Halo: Reach Beta is finally here after many delays. We are joined by AnTi Pro from Arm the Flag for an interesting in-game podcast. We go over some of the things that are new in Reach, focusing on Armor abilities and some of the new gametypes and maps. When we get to the actual podcast format after the Beta is over, we will go into more details on everything. Enjoy.

Yay! I’m back! This week the show is all about The Passing, the free (har har har) DLC that came out for Left 4 Dead 2. It’s out a little late because Dust Storm was on a road trip home, and he’s the one who uploads stuff apparently. Joining me this week we have Knuckles Dawson from Rooster Teeth’s Achievement Hunter site, Alchanii who is a friend of Knuckles Dawson, and returning is Lono from Sarcastic Gamer (although only for the first 20 minutes). Not joining me this week is Funnyboy who decided to vanish, losing all of his intern points in the process. This episode was probably the funnest one I’ve done so far, and it’s you’re definitely going to like it. Plenty of fun in the bloopers as well.

As for episode 15…

Let’s just say issues came up. Namely REALLY bad audio from my Frankenstein headset. However now that I have my new headset I’ll be able to re-record it, and hopefully soon. The quality on it is great. I hung onto all the submissions from the last show, so when I put the call out I’ll list all the people whose submissions I have. So you will have a second chance to submit into the show, or replace the one you have there. Although I’ll probably be combining the show on Dark Carnival with a show on Hard Rain. More to follow when I get there.

For now, enjoy episode 16! It was a lot of fun.
