  • Bodies, and Temples, and Gin

The Red vs Blue team released a deleted scene from Episode 31 yesterday; it’s on the Sponsors download page. It’s up only in Quicktime (two resolutions). Thanks to Scott Hartel for the heads-up. (It’s only 41 seconds long, and either 3.6 or 6.0 mb, depending on the version you grab.)

  • And To All A Good Knee

(GT)Juggler has put together a nice vid of the recent Knee For All fanfest; It’s 30 mb, QuickTime format, and does a good job of tying together the day. Check it out; we’re hosting it on files.bungie.org (looks like all this hosting is gonna toast us this month…).

  • Rockslide Megabattle

See what spam can do? I almost missed the relevance of this thread, because of the enormous amount of spam in it. However, the initial post is actually quite interesting, and points to a simple but content-rich site devoted to one very specific mini-game you can play within Halo; a massive battle involving many more…

The WMV was originally found at That Weasel Television – but folks were having real trouble getting hold of it, due to slow download speeds. The…

  • Details emerge about Wideload’s Halo-engined product

cuc found a pair of new Wideload interviews – one at 1up, a second at Homeland Fed. The most interesting parts, to me, have to do with the game itself; it’s an action game, using the Halo engine… but it’s not a First Person Shooter. Having buried myself in the consumer end of the Halo…

  • If you’re looking for inspiration…

Spotcheck continues to post speedruns of various levels, in preparation for Going Nowhere Fast – latest pair have been PoA (on Heroic), and the Maw (on Easy). These are run on HaloPC, and obviously the difficulty levels aren’t up to snuff – but he’s pointing out routes to take and tricks for shaving time off.…
